To all of you who say that this totally suck and that it’s impossible to listen to .... I’m telling you... Couple of months ago he wouldn’t dare to to sing this because he just wouldn’t be able to ... This is not perfect, but he it’s decent in my opinion... and that only means one thing: Jon’s voice is getting better, slowly but surely ;)

I was there last night. This was the highlight of the night, what a surprise it was. Jon’s voice is improving, as I do not believe he would of performed this unless that was the case. He’s got a long way to go, but you honestly don’t even notice it much at the show. I would rather him perform songs like this instead of doing the normal set and sound decent. I would also like to point out that he said they didn’t even rehearse this. Amazing.

I agree! and Let's not forget he's 56 years old ffs!! He's not going to sound the same as 15-20yrs ago! People need to realise that. He's still a master and fab performer hence why the shows are sold out all the time! Btw - they're still a band, JBJ can't work without them (Hugh, David, Tico, Phil) - Richie is the only one not there, (sadly) but I accept that now. Ps - Got tix this week for Sydney & Melbourne in December 2018! Haven't seen them since 2013. 6 months to wait :D

@@togetaro7734 i doubt it would do anything. surgery might, but years without touring wouldnt do anything. his voice is so screwed, it’s permanently damaged and no amount of rest can fix that. maybe a little but not to the extent that it would sound better than good again. stellar performance of dry county here though i’m impressed

Yeah gone a long time ago, not a couple of years ago.. Before the sh*t hits the fan like Jon once said, the voice was still just fine.. In 2013, there was more energy, but the nasality was really annoying... Compare this to the beginning of THINFS.. Not only this song, but even LOAP, KTF, and so on... You'll see some improvement... The guy already works on it and this is the point... Axl Rose voice once sounded like Micky Mouse too but improved... We can't get Jon of 1995 back anyway, like many other singers who aged and strained their voices

From a technical standpoint - yes. But his influences are much different than Richie's and hence his playing on certrain songs is lacking the blues and soul that Richie brought to the table in the past.

Love the improvement here. One of my faves. He is reaching the notes easier, still doesn't sound like it used to but better... hope it stays on the set list and improves... I get the pauses in order to push enough air to make.the notes happen but it is offputting in some places, not just this song.

I know that he isn´t gonna back, he doesn´t want big touring anymore. I liked Clevelend 2013´s form of the band (better than today´s). Richie was tired, after he done aftermath album and tour without rest he was goint to make another album and tour with BJ. Richie wants to start tour on spring 2013 , Jon makes decision that tour will starts in january 2013. Too soon for Richie. But I have to agree that I see more mistakes from Richie like as before. He isn´t at his best in these days, but for me still better with Richie like without
