Jons voice was very ''bass" during the period of '' Slippery When Wet'' album untill 1987 (to the end).Doesn't mean that his voice was bad at that time.THE ''LIVING ON A PRAYER'' told it perfectly at tthat time.

i wish he had not changed his singing style and kept singing with an open voice . i know that was very smart decision to start singing with nasal voice in live performances but..yeah, it just sounds much weaker than his real voice

I said it was sad cause Jon's voice wasn't in its best form, I went to their concert in Wienna in June and it was absolutely amazing but in that period he had some difficulties with his voice and I thought that the way he was trying to sing and Richie trying to help him was a bit sad
