Jon and Richie, you can safely retire Bed of Roses now. We love it but once you bring out Never Say Goodbye, sing it like that and have that kind of response....I think the fans have spoken:) Hoping for it next leg in Phoenix. Love you guys! Thanks for all the great music all these years!

I love, love, love them. They are still breakin' hearts. It's a kick how Ritchie is often chewing gum and singing. Don't know how he keeps from choking. Yes, I know the old joke about walking and chewing gum but this is different.

This couldn't be further from the truth. What you see is emotion, pure and simple. Richie pretty much always (still) sings that part when they play this song, I guess for this particular performance they just decided not to or didn't feel like it or whatever. They have no problem singing a song like this.

Hey Alex, let's just put it this way.... Imagine yourself being JBJ or RS and singing almost everyday of your life, in a career of what 20 something years of success. Reaching high notes almost every time you perform ei)ther recording stuff or gigs. Now, after all these years( i mean, 20 something would you still be able to sing as you did at the beginning? would you be able to reach high notes to perfection even when you are 40, 50?? dont think so... They are still great anyway!!!!!!!

I'm no musician but i thought richie sounded flat. i have heard much better harmonies. I hate the gum - not a good look.

Have you never heard the reason why they chew gum? To keep them from drinking so much they chew gum to keep their mouths from getting dry. It’s not like they can just run off the stage to use the bathroom and they are on stage for 2-3 hours at a time. Jon is the only one who gets a chance to go off stage which I don’t think is fair to the others but then again it’s ALWAYS about Jon!
