Some info from someone who has purchased one: For those of us that purchased the XTR 130, this is what I can tell you in case they(Bonafide) are unable to get back to you. 1- Foot Steering, the new system is not being shipped with Kayaks, nor is the steering Cord pre-wired. You will have to drill into Kayak to run these lines and use the existing foot braces/steering for now...But you will have to purchase a kit in order to do this. 2- Bow Motor Mount. There is currently no mount for the Xi3 Motor available. Ketch is going to be making one soon. I have the Xi3 Motorguide Trolling Motor but no way to put it on. 3 - Stern Motor Mount. IF you plan on Using Newport Vessels 300NK 300 , Note that the bolts they provide will not fit the Bonafide's Pre-drilled Holes. You can use the ones that Bonafide provide but they are smaller, and I have to admit, I have concerns about this solution as I am somebody that has purchased the 300NK Motor and hooked it up, does not seem that it will last very long, so I am hoping Bonafide addresses this as soon as possible as well.

@@charliepalmer2465 yeah but the question I had was whether or not it would handle big waters. I’m here in Texas. I want to go to the oil rigs, but I need a kayak that can handle big waters. That was a question. I asked them with no response.

@@raymondstorm2710 , I believe Bonafide does their own rating system for each of there Kayaks for different use cases , I would check that out . I have not had mine out in Rough waters yet , but strictly based on Haul design , with each side lower where he sit is , I am thinking a Hobie be better off shore , lakes , rivers , and flats This Kayak will kick A#S.... that is just my opinion though

@@charliepalmer2465 yea the issue is hobbies are not the company they once were. I can’t see dishing that much out to get a sub par product. I had a pa and it was trash may need to look into old town.

I got mine today. awesome Kayak, trying to find a Foot steering system to use with the Newport Electric Motor I am getting for it . Any ideas?

Wait for the bonafide roller bearing foot steering kit to come out in a month. Get a cheap standard for kit for now.

She's a buggin get sure. Still seems like a fun boat. Just a little too much boat for where I fish most. River is a bit too shallow in my section

Since it’s such a huge boat, nobodies ever gonna paddle this. 2800 isn’t the actual price. How much for this boat with a xi3 and a nk300? Almost 6k after taxes? Plus whatever electronics you choose and at least a bed extender, if not a trailer. This is a 10k boat easy. That being said, I want it. 😂

I reached out to bonafide with no response which runs me kinda hot cause I have owned 3 bonafides. So the question is it a big water kayak. I live in texas can I take it to the oil rigs

@@tonybarbosa7135 yea. I have been a loyal customer for years. I sent this email out four months ago. I love bonafide and think the world of everyone there. But four months and no answer I doubt that’s the case. I hate to say it but customer service is one of the big deals in my life. I’m starting the KZbin channel and I wanna do big waters big Fish. that’s why I was asking. There is no kayak that stands above bona fide in my mind. I’ve tried the hobbies of the world and was greatly dissatisfied. There are only two brands that stand out bona fide and and native which is the same brand and old town, but I think they’re less stable. I don’t know if I’m going to switch to the wilderness system in the new one they’re putting out. I called them and we had a lengthy conversation about what the tactical could do. I hate to leave the brand I love but customer service is everything

@@tonybarbosa7135 I get what you are saying but I made my inquiry 4 months ago and no response. As I said I Owen 3 bonafides my last one is the ss127. I am getting ready to start my KZbin channel and have a mind set of big waters big fish. What hurts is that I am a loyal customer who loves bonafide but I am a little guy so I am not important. That’s how it made me feel. I just wish they would have emailed me with something. I just think it may be time for a change. Wish you well Tony thinks for your response. It just sucks that customers have no value any more.

@@TexasPapa13 I get it. Hope they are safe and well. But my question was asked 4 months ago. As I said I love them and the company but I felt like they blew me off. After I bought 3 of their kayaks. I just wish they cared more but yea I know they are going thru it right now and I am praying for all of them. They are amazing and even though I may look elsewhere for my new kayak it hurts cause I love them. I just feel like I was blown off.
