Sweeeeeett ride, Jake! Just wondering why the motor battery was in the back. Then see why due it can cause inference running live scope. I wish Yakattack made a short stack with a bottom, instead an add on. I kinda like the Yakgadget angled crate ,but I'll rather modify a milk crate first instead buying one. Love the lights! It needs a Newport NK300 in the back. With the swivel chair , Jake can install a full drum set with a ton of cowbell!! LoL

My biggest interest in the XTR 130 is more in how it handles a larger motor for S Louisiana inshore fishing I'm running my NK300 on my 8 year old Slayer Propel 13. I can maybe push it to 6.5 to 6.75 mph, more like 5.5 to 6.0 mph to save battery power. However, it is a pretty wet ride in a significant chop. An older guy here, there is a part of me that wants to get maybe an old 13ft used Whaler or something similar, but getting a trailer and something big like the XTR 130 is tempting! Most of my rigging would transfer over seamlessly, but if I can't get a relatively dry ride then maybe a boat is the way to go! I am interested in what it takes to push these heavy yaks and how dry they ride at those speeds.

Right on.. I am sure Jake will come through the comments and be able to share how his XI3 handled the XTR
@BowFinJunkie5 күн бұрын
It handles it great. The XTR has a high bow and would be even better with a stern mounted motor. The big standing deck would be absolutely awesome in the LA flats!

Nice rig. I do like the XTR. A lot of rigging options and Jake has his done-up nicely. But, I’m happy with the Titan X 12.5. I do wish I’d had gotten a bow mount motor over NK300 though. If no other reason of having Spot Lock in the wind. Thanks for the video!

"EPIC" Love these videos because, no two kayak are the same. Thank you and you buddy, for a great walk through. Darren, I still recommend the W.S. Ceate. But if you want the short stacks. The Black Pack Pro, also awesome. 🎣 😎

😮did Bonafide issue a statement for dual motors...this might be the only rig that will get that statement.....the nk300 to travel to spot and the xi to fish the spot. I asked Nucanoe to issue that statement and they will not....😅

Love the build especially the position of the graphs! Not really a fan of the build with a bridge to hold 2 graphs, kinda defeats the purpose of being able to stand on the deck.
@wendellfishing4 күн бұрын
yeah.. the command stations defeats the purpose on this yak IMO

Agreed! Glad I went with this idea. It works out very well! So much room on the deck for activities lol.
