Same. The deck is surprisingly fun in a casual environment. But we still need AG Statue to complete it; I was surprised it wasn't in this year's Battles of Legend.

House missed when Robbie Kohl talked about $32k of this product only pulled 2 QCR Slifers. Proxy F Magician was played in Salamangreat, it was the caveat to making them go second, so players didn't have to punch through Double Phoenix control end boards Sally made going first. You remember the Sally play to Augment an opponent's monster to 0 of Baelynx, but instead of Fusion of Fire, they would Proxy F Magician a Sally monster and one of the Pitknight link monsters for Violet Chimera to double burn OTK.

I don't really know why other people are buying out proxy but I've been having fun with it in non Fiendsmith heavy Yubel decks. it can fuse into loving defender to burn for time, in primite builds it helps fuse into Klueger or other funny fusions. it doesn't help any other deck that I know of tbh.

Any chance of the platinum secret rares going lower as they are right now? Thinking this weekend would be a good buy window - since most people should have their sets by now.

@@kingfatih i think opening week initial quanities will all be out by weds meaning Monday in office both listings and targeted buyouts will continue. So buy a few things wait on the rest till Thursday imo

across 3 boxes i opened 2 wanted 2 sp 3 bonfire 4 flamberge 3 blackwitch 3 ostinato 4 grass 4 thrusts, I couldnt even finish a wanted engine. And these are what I would consider to be the heavy hits in the set at least and yes I know singles are always better but usually with rarity I've been grabbing three boxes to open for the fun of it but to see how low heavy hits are just don't think it'll be healthy for set if this is the norm buyer beware.

@randomdude6380 that's the math from the nostalgia pool mixed with rng which I broke down before and I think is fine personally. The nostalgia pool takes up a usual slot so you see 4 regular pool per pack so 96 pulls a box. Rng and clumping in modern will skew things so yeah mathematically you get a playest of each but rng will twist that

@House_Of_Champs my comparison is always rao 1 with the plentiful amount of everything imho. I had so much extra I was giving staples to friends for nothing or close to it. These sets you're lucky to see a set of staples across three boxes just crazy the difference.

I bought 120 tins for nearly$1700 and pulled zero bonfire, 2 sp, 3 thrusts. Both sets are a joke and none worth opening.

I am a bit doubtful that the DMGs will stay so high....but I am unsure. Maybe I should have bought them at 40 for presales. Oh well whatever. CED, Injection Fairy Lily, Gemini Elf and the Gods are looking decently cheap, so I am happy.

I like using reprint cycles to get UTR versions of cards when they dip. Grabbed Lo, & Diviner. Might get Thrust, Diabellstar, and a few other OTS UTRs.

It's kind of crazy how they still missed big iconic old format cards.. but yeah I guess keep reprinting the same cards that have been reprinted over time..

Not calling this a terrible product, but it is objectively the case that pretty much nothing in this set is worth buying right now. Historically, the more value that is jam packed into a reprint set, the more extremely the race to the bottom is, the greater the distance card prices have to fall. And, tbh, with this set having a ton of cards that people are going to be interested in buying, since they probably don't just want something like a blue-eyes or dmg, it makes way more sense to take the risk of a buyout happening on certain cards from waiting and just picking them all up whenever the price feels right across the board. Getting in on single buyout before it happens means you're also trying to do that with other cards which means you're going to miss more times than hit the target. This is one of the most "sit back and chillout" sets ever, in this regard. Everyone should cool it. Save on money but, more importantly, time.
