A great starting point but it goes nuts straight away. The baby was alone in a separate room from the mother? The woman didn't immediately get up to get the baby when the doc left? She didn't hear it cry? Mike, the premise is nuts. I love Bonanza, but I can't even watch this one.

You can always tell a Michael Landon written and directed episode without reading the credits.

It's always the woman that goes coo-coo for cocopuffs. It's nice to see the male being affected too.

Hard to look at the doc without all the goofy faces he’s known to make with his other character. Haha

That was a sad and dramatic one, ending with an honourable bonanzian death

i have mixed feelings about this one. i just dont think ben would have normally handled things like this that wasnt any sort of plan. the child was in no danger. they could have come up with something better than that.

One of the worst BONANZA episodes ever. Dark and irremediable “entertainment” unworthy of contemplation.
