The Pun of Harts She... never said that? Her point was to compare how it’d feel to eat someone you love deeply, not generalize the consumption of dogs. I doubt Molly would eat any pet of hers, regardless of species, because of the emotional connection. That was literally the whole point of her specifically not liking gamey lamb, it reminded her of sheep she had cared for in the past.

I was a Chinese person that used to hate century eggs but learned to love them so much that I'd crack one open and eat it whole as a snack. The key that lead me to liking the century eggs is 皮蛋瘦肉粥 (century egg and pork congee)。You seriously need to make this for Alex instead of just the white congee with century egg on top. The century egg just imparts this "je ne sais quoi" to the congee that makes it absolutely amazing. I started by picking out just adding one century egg to a huge family sized portion of congee but as time progress, I kept feeling like I was missing something when compared to the ones I had at the restaurants. It was a taste that I could not replicate no matter how much fish sauce, oyster sauce, stock etc that I added to the congee so I upped the century egg concentration and BANG that was it. I grew to love the taste and I found myself adding more and more and more century eggs into the congee until one day I just decided to take a bite out of the egg as I was cooking. It was life changing. Now, my favorite appetizer to make is century eggs with silkn tofu and scallions with a little bit of soy sauce, chinese black vinegar and sesame oil. I can eat this for days!! Totally recommend!! Century eggs are DELICIOUS!!!!!
