A thought on market effects between now and election. I am particularly concerned about Trump's tariff proposals, which, as I understand it, could be done without congressional approval.Others may have concerns about what Harris might due and her effect on the economy and markets. In either case, it seems prudent to withold new buying of both stocks and bonds until we get more clarity. I suspect other investors of both stocks and bonds have a similar view. This reduction in buying will likely give the market a downard bias over the next 2 weeks.
