As a Canadian from Vancouver Island - I'm impressed by your beach life guards. Here, we just let people drown. The Capital Regional District used to fund lifeguards at the most heavily used beaches, but cancelled the program about 20 years ago as a cost saving measure. Every year we lose tourists and exchange students that way - usually kids.

I was re watching this and looking through the comments and saw yours and I’m from van isle aswell and the life guarding is bad here I had to save a little Asian girl from the water once she had to be like only 5 years old it’s very scary cause she was going under

@@maxabbott2080 Thanks for saving her. Yeah - the total lack of lifeguards at lakes and the ocean and even community ponds shows an appalling disregard for the value of human life. Even places that had lifeguards 30 years ago, are now without.

MY FAVORITE WATER SPORT IS KYAKING BUT I WOULD ALWAYS STAY BTWEEN THE FLAGS. SOMETIMES I GO ON SAILING TRIPS WITH A BOAT SO I WILL TAKE A KYAK + ROW IT BUT I ALWAYS STAY BTWEEN THE BOAT + THE BEACH NEAR IT.
