I encountered a Bella-type dog recently, a yorkie named Princess in the outside seating of a restaurant. Dog was growling the whole time, sat on the sofa type seating and being fed by his owner. Not leashed. Owner kept holding her up to her face, dog growling the whole time. When someone asked if her dog was ok, she said "Yeah, I'm just annoying her!" AND THEN KEPT DOING IT. When they got up to leave, it ran back and forth along all the tables, barking and growling at everyone. Literally everyone laughed. My service dog was with me, a fairly big boy with very large teeth. He was perfectly behaved, but if he had showed similar signs of CONSTANT aggression, I highly doubt people would've reacted the same. I'm so sick of small dogs being treated as harmless.

I mean… objectively speaking they are harmless due to their size compared to bigger dogs. Just a matter of fact.
@CoRLex-jh5vx Жыл бұрын
@@sonokoakashi9375 dog bites are never harmless and never ok. Even ignoring the physical damage, which small dogs are still definitely capable of, their mouths are still full of bacteria. Tetanus kills, and dog bites, especially from small dogs due to attitudes like yours, are rarely taken seriously enough. The only person I know who was hospitalised for a dog bite was a bite from his pet Yorkie because he underestimated the damage it causes. Your logic is basically that you can stab as many people as you want as long as the knife is tiny, but you attack one person with a machete and then you're over the line (because let's be realistic, a big dog that bites 9 times out of 10 will only be able to get away with that once before being euthanized or constantly muzzled, which any dog with a bite history regardless of size should be)
@Pirates.27 Жыл бұрын
And not only are they danger to people, agressive dogs - regardless of how big they are - are at least a nuisance when walking my dog. Last month my border collie was bitten by a small dog not on a leash that lashed at him when my dog told him, he does not want to play. Even as the lady was getting close we told her to not do it and she still said that her dog 'is small and they will play!' Now my dog is even more scared of male dogs than he was before. The injury was not too bad thought. It healed within a few day, just needed a desinfection and no touchy.

@@Glittertrut true. My worry was the silicone too. That aspect I really didn’t enjoy. I thought it would have been better to put the dog on some sort of medicine honestly. That way he could keep his testis, nice and big, and be a big more laid back. Plus he can reproduce in the future if need be (by going off the pill). So I don’t know why they jumped to that conclusion. I’m having a guess that Chris did indeed bring up the pill option, but the gf/bf didn’t like it and made a scene. Because honestly- I find it very hard to believe that Chris wouldn’t think about putting a dog on meds for a certain condition. And you gotta remember, it’s a vet show, a lot of behind the scenes. So we can never be sure if other options were discussed and this one was just the one put in. But like- I find it very unusual silicone was chosen. She told me to bring her in immediately the next day as soon as possible. I got a call and Idgie was fine just a lil sore and the vet told me all how she loved giving idgie dog food, bananas, applesauce, and all these treats. She was laughing and giggling. Its seems that Gizmo was experiencing pain and so was finding relief by what he was doing to his owners. The clamping onto his owners, the purring and the biscuit making are all signs that he was trying to get pain relief for his hip pain. There is always a reason a cat does something that is strange within their behaviour. A cat is never just being mean or being horrible. If you have a cat that is behaving strange, first take them to the vet to see if they have any health issues. Once health is clear, watch their behaviour and try to find out what they are trying to tell you

It must be terribly frustrating to be in your situation. Personally my heart belongs to 100 lb Labrador. I remember in the days of the Pitbull Panic my cousin was told even though her yard was fence that she had to build a a dog pen with a roof on it to keep her dog in when he was unattended outside and he wasn't allowed to be walked without a muzzle. They also had to pay for that special license. I'm pleased to say that those ridiculous rules no longer exist Oddly enough I've been surrounded buy big breeds both my own and those of friends and oddly enough the only time I've ever been bitten was by a 1 lb toy poodle. Imagine having a dog that's so small you have to carry it in a purse in case somebody happens to step on it.😕

He really dosen't have a choice. His face is so flat that his hair gets in the water too. These cats have to really turn their heads down to eat or drink. Not like a normal cat that had a muzzle. The one at the dairy farm reminded me of a story of my vet that she shared with us. She and I had become friends over the years, and even as a teen I used to go sit at the clinic and help out of I could, but mostly I just loved being there and learning stuff connected to my passion. And she was the most fun and nice person to be arround. So, as to become a vet, part of the final exam was to feel inside some cows I think there were like 3 cows, of which one was pregnant and the rest were not. And she was bound to fail. Actually, she was really short, so she would not be able to reach the womb even If her life depended on it. She just couldn’t reach. 🤷🏼♀️ But luckily for her (sometimes cheating might be ok, she wasn’t going to work with cows anyway) one of her male classmates that had his turn before her, whispered which one was the pregnant one to her while he was om his way out and she was on the way in. So yeah. She nailed it. Sometimes I think that If it hadn’t been for her classmate, she wouldn’t have become a vet, I’d never met her, we’d never became friends and as to that I’d never mer that beautiful (both inside and outside) woman who also was my mentor when I was a teen. ❤️ Oh and btw, others who have heard this story has asked ”why couldn’t she just stand on a stool to reach better”, so I wanna ad that standing on a stool does not make your arms longer.
