Oh man I remember watching this one live, it was such a good one. Still can’t believe this year’s orchestra is the first one in the last few years that hasn’t been available live online. They were on such a roll with that, can’t believe the 20th anniversary orchestra would be the one they’d stop doing it for. Was one of the main things I’d look forward to each year since 2020. Really hope it still releases online sometime soon, I’m dying to see it. Also, all this love for Stories recently is amazing- *really* hope this means a Stories 3 is in the works. I get this is probably just to keep us occupied while waiting for Wilds, and they probably wouldn’t want to do Stories 3 til after that so there can be new monsters from Wilds in it, but still.

Marika Suzuki consistently creates masterpieces for this series. Her and Yuko Komiyama have made me tear up more than any other composers I've heard (any composers, not just counting videogame music). Wow this is intriguing. I wonder why they've put this out? Maybe releasing more through the year for the anniversary?

They might but I think they just let this out of the Capcom Vault to advertise MHST1 and MHST2 arriving on more platforms. They sometimes put episodes or even whole anime series for relevant games even in cases when it was lost media so I imagine they can market any old middle size game if it ever got a port.
