You know what it is about romancing Halsin that is so refreshing? He puts *consent* above everything else - he doesn't force, or whine. He let's you (the player) choose what (and who) you want to do. It's the sexiest trait imaginable.

All the companions are romances heavily involve consent from what I see. (Except maybe Astarion when he bites you, but blood lust and the sexual type aren’t really same thing to him). I haven’t really gotten to know minthara but none of the companions are pushy. Lae’zel has a very blunt confession, and if you reject her she has an arrogant response but she and all the other companions are respectful of the player’s agency.

I love how heartfelt the dialogue is between Halsin and Tav. It feels so devoted and bigger than their situation. He speaks to Tav with such respect and care. :')

There is something about Halsin I like but too many words can’t describe him Everytime I see him while playing the game I can’t help but feel… safe, protected and cared for everytime I see him, I can even feel my face turning red in swoon, my eyes flutter and my mind is full of him in my head He’s like a cinnamon roll boi

It's what he provides and the way he shows his love. He offers true safety and devotion. He trusts Tav and so he wants Tav to be able to trust him just as much. He is a walking green flag (which is why some say that he is a bit boring, because there is nothing more to him - game-wise - than the Shadowcurse). As he puts it so nicely in the little kissing-scenes: 'You are all that I want.' He chooses Tav although he is allowed to look for his own happiness anywhere. But he doesn't, chooses not to, because he is content with what he has during the events of the game. What I am trying to say: I absolutely feel the same. There is something really warm and calming about him which is beautiful to experience. No other character is that secure in themselves and shows it openly. Which is why I made a new Tav only for him, so I get to see all of his beautiful calmness once again.

I haven't been able to play bg3 myself yet bc I don't have a good enough computer, but I love hearing about it from my friends and watching let's plays. A very close friend of mine is obsessed with Halsin. At first, I was more into Astarion (mostly bc I want to be as confident as him), but over time, I started to understand why my friend loves Halsin. He's everything I could wish for in a man. Big, strong, kind, smart, funny, charismatic, and honest. I wish he was real. I hope I meet someone like Halsin one day.

I don’t even have this game yet(I don’t have the means to play it unfortunately, at least not right now 😭) but Halsin’s romance was really sweet imo. He and Astarion are my top favorites so far. And btw: I swear I never laughed so damn hard when I saw the poor traumatized squirrel lmao 😂🤣

yeah! as far as i know, when he transforms to his bear form and then back there's a dialogue option to ask him to contain himself (idk how to put it less harshly😭😭). he won't become a bear after that.

Nah, he’s too weird for me. The whole beastiality bit was too much; sleeping with a football field of people and being poly was already too much. He’s hot and tempting, but not much else to his character besides negatives traits that don’t align with my own. There is ONE thing that made me reconsider him and it’s the ending where he’s a father. His love for children and nature are the only things we have in common. I chose Gale as my mate because everything aligns with him, except he wants to be a god or dedicate himself to his research after; I even remember him saying he’s not father material which made me so sad

If you want to trigger this scene, you need to let Rath know about the plot before releasing Halsin. The first clue is located in the servants' quarters (Emerald Grove)🍀
