I like to hold the deck close to my heart during different the emotional states I experience, from sheer joy to anger or sorrow. I’d like to believe this practice introduces the deck to my range of emotional vibration and helps the bonding process.

New decks reside on a selenite plate that is next to my bed before they join my collection. I find that edging is a great way to bond with a new deck and it also personalizes it.

Haha! I’m watching this just after your Instagram about the Angel deck. I have a Vampyre deck I love, and don’t feel any interest in Angel deck. Feels like you’re suggesting that I bond with an angel deck 😂😂😂

I would like to make one suggestion to anyone who is having some sort of difficultiing connecting to energy. Go and work with a horse for a month every day. and not just the normal show up for an hour and go I mean really spend time with that horse for hours at a time every day. Then when you feel like you can trust the horse and the horse is trusting you (they typically will the second they meet you they dont like confrentation) then start to do energy work aka body work on that horse. Run the tip of your index finger along that horses bladder maridian line from the forlock all the way down the back and the hind leg to the fetlock... apply feather light pressure as if you are touching the yolk of an egg but not popping it to see it indent... go slowly very slowly but not so slow that you are not moving at all. Stay steady keep your index finger right on that maridian line and do not break the movement by lifting your finger or moving backwards or whatever... just run the tip of your finger all the way along the bladder line and watch what the horse does feel what your finger picks up along the way... that is the easiest and most fullfilling way to connect to energy and get a feel for what energy actually does feel like.... its the only way I know how to show someone that energy work is real and it works... once you have done that a couple dozen times connecting to a tarot deck will seem like the easiest thing in the world. Have a dope ass day yall much love and light and a little bit of darkness to keep you from getting board ;)

this is interesting to me because I do not have any difficulty connecting or bonding with any given tarot deck. It all depends on if I am connected to my inner being or higher self the connection I have to source energy aka my soul. I typically can simply pick up a deck knock out the energy once or twice sometimes several times if it feels nasty for some reason and then I read.. I dont need to preform a specific layout and I dont need to attune to the energys of the cards only the energy of that person and of source. I do my best to keep my own energy as to myself as I can to prevent any contamination of the cards attempting to read my energy which I recomend not reading someone when you are drunk drinking is a sure fire way to mix your energy all up in thier reading and give them a very poor reading... alothough some other psychadelic medicines they actually can enhance the reading if you are seasoned in that type of consiouceness... but yeah I havent ever had to bond with a deck they tend to bond themselves to me and further more I am capable of handing or passing the bond onto another person and allowing instantly bonding them to my decks to show them that its all in their mind and easy to do when you simply know that it is possible... Peter pan always said when you believe you can fly well when you believe you can read. Does that make me Peter Pan?

"Bonding" is total nonsense. I open the cardboard box, remove the cards, shuffle, and deal. That is all the bonding I do, and as long as I shuffle thoroughly, my card readings are 100 percent accurate 100 percent of the time. Accuracy is my only concern, and the rest is mindless hocus pocus. I have been conducting readings for people professionally since 1975, and in all that time I have never once done anything special with my cards to effect "bonding." Bonding is for rank amatures. The Cosmos has not turned me into a pillar of salt yet!
