Lori McCarthy Clearly. What I am saying, is that if he thought it was nearly anything other than pregnancy, they would typically x-ray. When pregnant, they try to avoid x-rays if they can, especially if they don't know where in the pregnancy they are. Imaging clearly needed to be done, but the choice in type says he already figured it was pregnancy, not some "giant surprise" found during imaging.

Thank you for saying this. I was born visually impaired due to Optic Nerve Hypoplasia and Nystagmus so I know a lot about blindness. Here are a few tips. Don’t change furniture around. We blind creatures can memorize where things are. Also, hone into her other senses. Make sure if you have other pets that she can hear them walking around, especially cats. That way she doesn’t get startled. I’ve been startled by sneaky people from time to time. LOL. Also, scent. I have heard of scent stickers that you put on the corners of furniture so she will be able to smell where everything is. Also. Training is key. Gotta make sure she is comfortable with a lot of things and people. Lots of love to you guys. 🤗

I would just like to assure anyone whose dog is not an unhappy dog if he becomes blind. I rescued a little Maltese, blind on one eye (tumour) - she had been left outside in the snow for about 3 weeks. I managed to catch her (nobody else in the area could, but did feed her). She settled down and became a family member (with my other animals - a Rottie and 2 cats). Soon it was obvious that she was pregnant and had one big baby. A few months later she lost the sight in her second eye and her daughter lost sight of both her eyes not long after. I took them for walks and they learn't to recognize their surroundings. In my home, I was careful not to move around any furniture. I taught them where their food bowls were, they jumped up on my bed and the sofa without any problems, were happy when they had a bath. In fact, you would never have guessed they couldn't see. So please don't worry if one of your dogs loses their sight - give them time and help them around the house and outdoors. Mine played with their doggy friends every day, chasing each other happily.

I had a beautiful white and yellow budgie female with purple on her cheek feathers, Alita. She was very tough, and survived being homeless with me. My mother had found a brand new house which was wheelchair friendly, as all the members of my family have mobility issues. But, there was only enough room for her, and my two sisters, who I helped her to raise. They were 11 years younger than me. It was also right next door to her long term partner. There was never going to be a more perfect place for her to live comfortably into her old age, so I insisted that she took it. I would find my own way, and much preferred her future security and comfort over my own. I eventually got lucky, I ended up living in a caravan with Alita on someone's front drive who was terribly kind to let me stay. Alita got all the heat from the tiny heater I had, I made sure she was much warmer than me. I bought her food and whatever she needed first, whenever I got money, even if that meant I did not eat. She lived until she was 11: after I got a place to live the last five years of her life were full of comfort and happiness. The way she passed was bizzare. One morning I woke up, finding her on the floor of her cage and she seemed to have partial paralysis of her legs. I was devastated, I called in sick at work and rushed her to the vet straight away. The vet gave her an anesthetic, and an xray, telling me that she had found a small tumour in her brain. Of course, I was floored, and quite upset. Alita was well otherwise, and was getting around by using her beak and her good leg. So the vet suggested we wait to see what happened, as she was eating and such, was old and seemed Ok other than that. We discussed some changes I could make to her cage with a bit of DIY (I'm quite handy) to make disability adjustments for her. That tickled me a bit, she was not the first disabled pet I'd had. The vet told me that she was alright, came through the anesthetic fine, and I could collect Alita. I was literally getting my shoes on and my electric wheelchair ready, when I got a call back ten minutes later. The vet was audibly distressed, it was subtle but it was there. Apparently Alita's last act on this Earth was to bite the heck out of the poor vet, and then she abruptly flew over the Rainbow Bridge. I ended up comforting the vet, as I and my family had been part of their practice since I was 10 years old. We know everyone there and we're like a little family. I'm 35 now. She was devastated that Alita had abruptly slipped away, just at the moment she seemed fine. She is an excellent vet, a specialist in exotics, with many years of experience. But she knew how much Alita meant to me. She wasn't crying when the phone call started, but I sensed how distressed she was. When I asked if she was alright, and apologised if Alita had hurt her, apparently that did it. We both ended up having a bit of a tearful laugh that it was typical that my girl decided to go out not only fighting, but in the most shocking and unexpected way possible. She had always been my little firecracker, very opinionated, refused to have a cage mate, unless she took a liking to a male. But then she'd end up making him sick by getting him to feed her his food from his crop all the time! A bossy, lively little one who loved fuss, attention, and sitting on my head or shoulder at any available opportunity. I do really miss her though.

How amazing it is to see Bella thriving and with kittens! Poor baby, I remember the episode where her tail was removed. What a shock it was when they found kittens after thinking she was neutered. I also found it very interesting that she only has 2 kittens! Normally there are more than that but that’s still amazing! And Mr. Lucky was adorable. So supportive. 🥰🥰🥰

My heart was so happy at the end of this episode. I had a black kitty just like Jacko who had the same forehead swelling. Sadly, my boy did have the cancer Dr. Scott was afraid of. So I was so thrilled for Jacko and his mom.

So, why do people watch videos just to dislike them? Like if you're gonna dislike them? Why you watching them? e.e

I wonder if they are new to KZbin and the "Don't Like" refers to not liking that the pup is going blind or not liking that an animal is hurting.

I think what some people don’t like is the narrator being so hard to hear at times.

I just love how Dr Scott and his wife Zoe have such a wonderful bond. Zoe is SO beautiful! And they fit together so well. Because Dr Scott is in a “sea” of women in his practice, and he is very attractive. Not to mention he cares so deeply for his furry clientele, makes him even more attractive. The Millers are a beautiful family. God bless you Dr Scott for ALL you do.
