I live in a frost free country, so been quite interested in seeing your vids where you dig below the frost line. In this one though, it seems to be quite shallow. Is that because its a monoblock pour?
@bondobuilt3866 ай бұрын
This is a floating slab so it is not required to be below the frost line. She did it that way because the trailer was on a slab as well.

3/29/24..2day : 30 x 28 monolithic pad next to long mobile home...lots of clay- soil here as you said. You clearly know just how to handle this situation. Then >👀 look💥 < 👀you have that 'Rebar Pulling Hook'🔧 & 'strong arm girl' to execute the 'grab & pull up' to set the wire re-enforcement. Ahhh, all Rebar Police are relieved to see this + your comments that you dont use that 'Pull Wire Hook' whenever you >Also< have Radiant Heat (Red) Tubes submerged, hidden from view. Yup, that makes good sense. Thx Bondo for this important bit of info/ education! Naturally, all we keen eye viewers will be inspecting ( from our rocking chairs) to make sure you/ crew get that reforcement grid wire🥅➿️# into mid-area of slurry for 'Bondo Best' cc slab work! How deep did you guys drill into the original pad to tie the new and old work together? For the overall dimensions of the bar you mentioned 1/2" diameter bar, how about the length. It looked like they were about 24" long with about 18 sticking out from old work but I am just guessing. Do you guys ever use adhesive when inserting bar into old work? Also I am learning alot from your videos. Keep up the great work. You guys ahould think about do your own merchandise (caps and t-shirts). I definitely would buy a Bondo's big buscuit t-shirt lol
@bondobuilt3863 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comments 😊. The bar was 1/2" and we drilled it in about 6". they were around 24" long. We did not epoxy them in. I thought about the merchandise Brian. 👍👊

Can you go back to the customer since it wasn't flat and graded properly? Or are you stuck because your quote was for a certain square footage of pad?

I have to say that every time you rag on biscuit about his weight, I cringe a little bit. I am sure he says it doesn't bother him but as most overweight people they would just laugh it off but it is like a needle poke each time something is said. Maybe you could not do that on video so as to not have everyone only see him as "fat". But I still like the videos and the work you do, just wish you didn't make fun of your workers like that.

Never do this, singlewides are not worth messing with, they are built to fall apart and if you redo them in order to last the value will never be worth it. If you have to live in one for a while I get it, but move on asap
