considering this is basically the carbon copy from rs2(pretty much only difference were rewards from tds tbh), the quality of gm quests in today's standards are just generally better and i wouldn't be surprised tbh. Back in the days this would've gotten the whole crowd screamin', but then dclaws already exist in osrs and in those times, this was THE quest.

Dragonflame crystal: upgrades dragon claws to dragonfire claws. Increased accuracy and special attack of unavoidable 1 burn damage per tic for 20 tics. No increased max hit.

People are so negative. Unless a quests gives a new bis item everyone's upset. I'm not a fan but when you consider that this and the new moon gear makes pvm and pking more viable and fun for new people and lower levels I'd say it's a win

I think the main problem isn't the strength of the claws, but how rare they are added to the terrible regular drops. As it stands, at 30Kc/h it takes 16 hours in average to get 1 claw. 32h to get 2. With my regular demonic gorillas gear setup I'm getting less than 30Kc/h so it will take me longer. Considering that only the rares are really worth picking up, you basically have to camp tormented demons on a gp loss until you get either claw or synapse. With release day prices, they're 165k/kill so over 4.8m/h average if you pick everything up. Right now they're still worth doing. Once prices stabilize, I can see these being less than 2m/h average which is already CONSIDERABLY worse than the 4m/h you get at demonic gorillas. At this point I honestly just want the synapses as a 1 time upgrade

they require the same stats as dragon claws, either claws req goes up to 75att or bone claws go down to 50att..... another item dead on arrival.

probably not, lower str bonus than dds and less specs overall.

Naw dds still king for that, iirc bone claw spec does 175% damage, dds spec does 230% damage. With adrenaline you're looking at 6 bone claw specs for 1050% damage vs 8 dds specs for 1840% damage and i havent even accounted for the fact that dds+defender has more str bonus than bone claws...
