When a highway building crew begins digging in the vast Arizona desert, the local police find themselves with several grisly murders. In these bizarre murders, the victims have had their bones removed by a means that even the medical community can't explain! Unwittingly, the crew has unleashed an ancient Indian spirit, the Bone Eater, who is exacting revenge.

I thought this movie was interesting , I loved the part where the skeleton was riding a ghost horse , totally awesome . Being part Iroquois , don't mess with ancient burial grounds , you never know what you'll be up against , either the Indian nation or the spirits of the dead . Good movie , thanks for posting .

Linda the problem is that greed takes precedence over common sense. I have been told that my family and I are part native American, and we take seriously native legends and respect them, so desecrating indian or any other burial grounds is against everything that I believe in. You never, ever know what can happen if you mess with burial grounds.

Part Hopi and part Egyptian here. I know how serious this is when folks mess with things that are buried or the spirits. They do the same in Egypt, digging up tombs. Things happen as a result of this and everybody knows about it. No one will admit it publicly of course but what they unleash when they dig around is very powerful. I know the ancient beliefs so I know. The grave robbers don't, they are blinded by greed - greed for money and fame.

A great movie. I love the part of the skeleton riding the ghost horse. It showed story of the past of the Indians and how the Indians believed in the spirits of dead Indians. I am part black foot and I believe things like this in the pictures. There's a lot of people don't believe in things like this, but I do. Indians,Africans ,Chineses,Koreans, and other races have their traditions. The white man has taken a lot from them,especially the Indians and the Africans. But part of life and greed,of gold and diamonds. Any way I love this movie and the Bone Eater played his part great. Please continue to show movies like this.👍🏆👍

The only reason it was not that crap, is because of Bruce. A potentially fascinating story in the gothic tradition, that was turned into a half baked movie with no horror or suspense, and cliche with no logic. Why bury an evil shaman with his weapon, wouldn't the Shsmsn that vanquished him have taken away his object of power, to subdue him in his eternal rest?........

I'm glad I found this movie again after many years. I've watched it several times before and it never gets boring. Very good storyline that acurately reflects what so many of us are experiencing nowadays. There's just one thing that bothers me: in the movies, they always find a solution to get rid of evil. In reality, those of us who don't take part in evil and destruction have yet to find a way to rid this world of such unclean forces.

The solution IRL is that when it's time (which is probably pretty soon considering that everything predicted in the Bible either has or is coming to pass! One World government - so no borders. One currency - CBDC's, and a world religion - ecumenism, people worshiping the creation "Mother Earth/Gaia" rather than the Creator, Romans 1- we're dealing with God's abandonment wrath, andso on. It's all happening..) then God/Yeshua will return to cleanse the world itself and to judge everyone who has chosen not to believe in Yeshua and His sacrifice for our sins so we can be reconciled to a Holy and Just God. I love the horror genre. I have a question. Have we become so desensitized that true horror films no longer scare us? I find myself laughing at all these "so called REPEAT horror flicks", same story lines, similarities with characters, or is it just me? Will be 52 years old this month. I have seen almost every horror film in the US. I began watching those from abroad 12 years ago. Personally I like the B movies better than mainstream.

We are not so much desensitized my friend it is just that we are getting older and while we know the world can be a rotten place from time to time we also know that horror films are just camp fire tales on film just for entertainment and our inner child that was once delightfully scared by them is now a teenager determined not to be impressed. 😀 We need to try to keep our inner child alive and well to get the most out of life ,but like all children they are prone to rebel and we start to become stuffy old grown ups if we are not careful. I am 56 this month as it happens so I know how you feel. Happy Birthday for later and all the best to you .😀

🇬🇧 wow! That was a hell of a good film! Great theme on ancient Native American beliefs given a sympathetically well thought out story & also including the poor & shoddy treatment these people have to endure. Im fast becoming a fan of this channel MIDNIGHT SCREENING Ive watched 4 of their film picks one after the other & they have all been thoroughly enjoyable well acted, different themes but All on unusual topics Ive decided to sub so i can access more of their films Im very impressed & know im at least 85% guaranteed a damn fine film, a rare thing when theres so much dross out there that's mind numbingly boring & poorly acted. This is well worth watching especially the ghost horse of the Bone Eater! Very good spec/f/x Thank you Midnight Screening for another super film 🇬🇧👧

That was a interesting movie. I loved the ghost horse, that was pretty cool. But it seems like shooting something & it having zero effect is stupid and pointless. Other than that it's wasn't a bad movie. The monster skeleton was impressive , really big & very fast. Thanks for the free movie.

Another made for TV monster flick. I think this was done for the Sci Fi channel. If not , it was weekend thing for Fox or the like. The CGI monster and Bruce Boxlighter put it in that eighties era. It's not a classic. But it's entertaining with out being offensive in any way. When the monster kills people they dissolve into dust and blow away. That's a very bloodless , almost Star Trek way of doing it. Over all it's a good one for kids for a Halloween marathon. I liked it.
