Good video Brotha. Eazy at the time thought Flesh was a liability to sign because he was addicted to sherm so he didn’t sign him. Flesh said he had no hard feelings towards Eazy. But Flesh had to go to court to get his money for what he did on Creepin on ah Come up. This is why after E died, the new people took him off most of E1999 since he wasn’t signed to Ruthless. ***I stand corrected. Flesh has stated recently, he was signed to Ruthless. He sued them to get his money and won the lawsuit.*** Layzie went with Flesh to get the recording contract with Def Jam as well. My oldest Brotha had the original E.1999 with the original crossroads as the 8th track In Crossroads when it gets to Krayzie’s verse, the other 3 guys, left to right are Boogie Nikke, Ken Dawg and Tony Tone. Boogie Nikke and Tony Tone were 2/3s of the Group Poetic Hustlas. Poetic Hustlas were the early incarnations of Mo Thugs from the groups first two albums. Poetic Hustlas also released two albums in the late nineties. Their first one under the Mo Thug/Relativity Records. The second was an independent release. Uncle Charles was murdered I believe the day Creepin on ah Come Up released. I believe the Baby the reaper got was in reference to Lay’s Son Angel Baby Boi Howse who passed away six weeks after being born. Bone performing Crossroads in white suits was from the 1996 MTV awards show.

31:10 I've always felt like that's not actually Bizzy at all leaning on the car. He isn't in any other shots on the mountain. Even in the alternate version of the video where it's just them in the church and on the mountain top you don't ever see Bizzy. I think he wasn't there that day and they just used literally anybody as a double because the shot was from so far away.

There's another version of Crossroads (not Tha Crossroads with Flesh) that came out on the original single with alternate lyrics that no one seems to talk about. Where Lay says "I love you to death..." it's changed to "and Eazy E" I think I have it on vinyl. I laid my original CD Single to rest with a family friend who passed shortly after the release. Also, my Eternal album only has the original Crossroads, I didn't get the re-release with Tha Crossroads on at the end

Tha Crossroads wasn't added to the end, they literally replaced Crossroads with it. The actual CD itself had different artwork on it too. I had (have?) both. I've also heard the version where Layzie says Eazy-E. "...deal with the struggles like you Wally and Eazy-E and I wish I could have seen through your troubles". It was on the radio version of Crossroads where they changed a lot of words instead of just bleeping the curse words. I always liked how Bone would record separate versions of their singles with new words i stead of just muting it or bleeping it. Anyway, that version of Crossroads is on youtube, look up 'Crossroads LP version radio edit'.

Me seeing everyone hate on Bone like 20 years ago cuz they wanted to only hear everyone else on the radio & now to see everyone respect them like gods like i did back then is a blessing & proof of how powerful "real" actually truly is💯 I got all three versions of E. 1999 Eternal album on accident over the years , the first version has the OG "Crossroad" that came out before Eazy died , the second has "Tha Crossroad's" that came out later that year in 95 after Eazy died & then i have the 96 version limited edition which has both versions on the tracklist & all 3 of them have different album & CD art especially the 96 version which is the rare one cuz it's the only version I've only seen once & that was when it first came out 💯

That old footage of Bizzy and Eazy play fighting was on The Box back in the day like 94. The Box showed Bone, 2Pac (b4 Death Row), Death Row and other poppin artists at that time a lot of love. They always had some dope ass interviews and behind the scenes footage. I grew up with in Akron, with family also in Columbus and Cleveland. Akron and Cleveland are very close so we spent a lot of time up there and it was a very proud time when they dropped. I was a kid at the time and this brings back a lot of memories. Growing up in ohio, playin that eternal champions, sonic, mortal kombat (the first one haha) madden 94 haha all while bumpin Bone, 2Pac, Wu Tang, Death row etc etc. We noticed that Eternal Champions joint and used to let it play just because Bone used it. To us it was the same vibe. 90s childhood was lit to say the least.
