Krayzie is that dude! The real Captain Hook! A str8 melodic genius! He'd say the coldest shit in the hottest way! Bone wouldn't have been Bone without him. Layzie was so hard and would say sumn that'll hit u dead in the gut! Smh. Wish was so real, u could feel his emotion. His verses was usually the most catchy verses. Bizzy was so sporadic and unpredictable. He was a livewire, even with his vocals. Flesh was like the mixture of Lay & Wish, especially in his vocals, but he had that same chill like Kray. They the best group to ever do it and more than likely the best that will ever do it by a landslide.

Everything good and ALL OF THE EVIL THE INDUSTRY OFFERS! YES B has always been crazy but he would tell us all the insane things that they had to do to get where they wanted to be! Wow I bet you’ve seen it all...was there a studio there in the CO that 7th sign would record at? I don’t know where diamond mine was located
@mrs.Italy.D5 жыл бұрын
@@Hunter2847 yes honestly there were multiple studios here. Yes seventh sign all recorded here in Columbus I am still friends with all of them. Big B and Ru both have passed away. Ru was killed by the Columbus police😥...he called the police for help and ended up on life support with a police boot print literally on his face! He remained on life support for a wk and we all went and said our goodbye. Yes I've been there through it all. The good old dayz....
@Hunter28475 жыл бұрын
Mrs.Italy D ya I seen that on B’s Instagram about Ru....how tragic. I wonder why he called the police for help? Shows how much help they are. Most of 7th sign’s original cast is either dead or in jail between Q Loco being locked up, Ru passed, Big B passed, Capo passed,& Nina Ross as well. Her & B have a beautiful song that they did & it’s kinda their version of Marvin’s “inner city blues”....Nina & B’s is under the name “Make Me Wanna Holla”...it’s here on KZbin around his Heavenz Movie era I believe.Mr Majesty is one of the OG members that’s still somewhere floating around I think. Do you have any pics by chance from back then or would be able to get some music that hasn’t been released?

I never noticed back then lol ( was to tied up in the music ), but all these cats were sportin' long hair. Long hair, fast lyrics, singin' while rappin', etc. BT&H DEFINITELY were original dudes with their OWN sense of style and flow. Great video, btw. Thanks for the upload.

I remember the first time I heard BTH I was in 6th grade.. nerdy and goofy as all hell.... I think it was 96 or 97 on the bus and my friend had a cd player in his bookbag... I never heard rappers harmonize and spit fire... next thing I know my pants were baggy my grandma was yelling at me for listening to that "ghetto" trash and all I wanted to do was beat box and rhyme like Krayzie bone lol looking at this I never realized how young everybody was at the time, all these guys were barely in their mid twenties

The Art of War was the ANI-Illuminati, ANTI-Industry album. Thats why I believe the industry shut them down after this album was released. Body Rott explains their message very clearly. The fact that BTNH is responsible for the way R&B and Rap sounds today and no one acknowledges that is quite evident that they have been blackballed
@MrKadidle5110 жыл бұрын
You are totally on point. Listen to someone like asap rocky and kendrick lamar. Asap actually gives them shout outs from time to time. But kendricks hooks sound a lot like btnh on some tracks and he has never given them any thing as far as i know. Those are just two off the top of my head. Im sure there are thousands of other examples. BTNH is my all time favorite

I know my comment is late but I never looked at it that way. Sure enough after the A.O.W. the fell off heavily.
@DrumJeter198510 жыл бұрын
Yea when I was younger I Thought the album was about people just biting their style but it was definitely content against the law and the industry as a whole.....
@garfieldthomas811810 жыл бұрын
DrumJeter1985 Yeah, if they were allowed to, I think they'd do some serious damage. They were genuine street cats willing to do what was necessary. No flashy lifestyle. The lyrics in the songs on E. 1999 Eternal revealed their menacing disposition.
@DrumJeter198510 жыл бұрын
For sure bro. I do believe this year they "may" be allowed to with their manager Steve Lobel and his industry connects they have a chance. And now would be a perfect time for the originators of the flow that everyone from R&B and rap is using to show that you can't imitate originality. These guys were artistically amazing when it came to flow styles, cadence, the ability to use multiple voices, and of course authentic content....
