He was having major issues with Tomica Woods-Wright and their distribution label (which was Sony, the same label Destiny's Child was distributed by). It was just a bunch a politics at the time. They had no problem clearing her for 50 Cent and Cam'ron songs at the time, and they were also on Sony which made it easier to clear.
