@@joannajones6404 You must be an incurable romantic if Bram Srokers Dracula is your all time favorite movie. What man forbids his only love to "die of your world and be reborn to mine?" "NO!. I cannot let this be!!. You will be cursed to walk in the shadow of death for all eternity. I love you too much!." "Take me away from all this....death." CRUNCH!. I didnt like Annie Lennox's song when I first saw the movie. Now I love it. I was watching The Ninth Gate. And I thought "Ive heard this music before. But where?": BRAM STOKERS DRACULA. The ending song on The Ninth Gate Is fantastic. The Soundtrack to BLADE RUNNER is great. Van Gelis. "Memories of Green" "One more Kiss" and "Rachel's Song" are wonderful songs. I think you'd love Rachel's Song. The piano on "Memories of Green" reminds me of something Ravel would have written-if you're into music. Very tonal. Always good to meet someone with good cinematic taste. You've probably watched how they did the naive special effects in Bram Stokers, that gave the movie it's unearthly feel.

Man, with all the shit we've got ourselves into on this planet, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if some other intelligent life looked down at our beautiful blue marble shaking their heads thinking, what a waste. I only hope they are as wise as they are advanced. With that wisdom they are able to look deeper than all those glaring easy to see negatives. See deeper into what humanity truly is. A species full of individuals who in large, are good and kind people. People trying to etch out a better life physically and for many, spiritually. Our paths are as unique as each individual but collectively show humanity's consistent pursuit towards growth. Let ue not be known by the cowardly and inhumane deeds of a few. Let us not be known by the greed that's polluted those in power. The ones that make decisions based on expansion of their own power instead of what's good collectively. All they need do is study our art and philosophy. More directly, study our music, which imo is our greatest contribution to the universe yet to date. Literally learner to harness the vibrational frequencies of the universe to express our deepest human emotions. If they do that, they'll see we are so much more good than bad. It's just our ugliest make the most ruckus.

That moment: Listening to youtube songs, ya drunkingly missclick and select shit to interrupt your own playlist. Something other playes, something other says. You stop. You halt. Your lead fingers, so heavy, stand numb and you click the tab. What is this? What is this sound, that brings you [so] down? That levels you? That makes you... Forgive, forgive humanity. Love humanity. That you share this world, this DNA and kinship, with such a weaver of sound. That moment. Is why I force myself to endure living, and I am so thankful to the people who make it endurable.
