Cannibal love, and just in time for Thanksgiving. Sounds like my kind of movie. You've sold me, James.

I'm a recovering addict, I found this movie profound and I found the cannibalism to be a metaphor for addiction and how love + addiction can be very beautiful yet extremely turmoil.

You gotta check out “Waves” if you like Taylor Russel. First film I saw her in and she gives one hell of a performance!

Def Call Me By Your Name! You have to see it and it has Timothee Chalamet in it, his best performance so far (haven't seen Bones and All yet).

My sister is obsessed with 'Call Me By Your Name'. I'll definitely be checking it out. Hopefully Chalamet and Guadagnino continue to work together for a long time.

Wow! Another must see film for me, thanks. Years to come I hope these great actors keep doing these films that are non commercial. All your film reviews are for films I want to see. I also like the top tens and films of actors and directors you do.

I know you review films. But Hannibal, the series is like a long-form movie with great performances of Mads Mikkelsen as the titular character and Hugh Dancy, and gorgeous cinematography.

You should see, Luca Guadagnino’s, “We are who we are”, HBO series, 2020, reminded me a little of this…

This is a great review 🥰 Though it makes the wait worse for me because this movie won't be released in my country so I'll have to wait for VOD 😔

"The Best Love Story About Cannibalism You'll Ever See." I mean, considering how specific that is, I bet it is.

A few have been made. Claire Denis' 'Trouble Every Day' is particularly good but some would argue that the movie is more of a vampire movie.

I think overall it has a lot to do with the more recent shift of not being able to scrutinize people who designate their pets as “support animals”. It’s pretty much against the law in many places to even ask

Definitely a thing in New York. We have the most active moviegoing population in the country but their behavior leaves a lot to be desired.

@@geekinwithJamesHancock Saw it last night...best movie of 2022 by a country mile...just a beautiful and emotionally deep piece of work...when Chalamet's character talks about his dad it was hard for me to keep it together.

James, I checked out a movie earlier this afternoon that I think you'll really dig. It's called The Menu and it has Ralph Fiennes and Anya Taylor-Joy and I had a blast watching it. It's got some really good dark humor, biting satire and genuine suspense and intrigue. I don't want to really say what it's about, as it's one that benefits from going in as blind as possible. Don't know what your schedule for the weekend is, but if you have some free time, I think it's worth checking out and giving some cash towards.

Sounds like Guadignino avoided traveling up his own colon, as he had done in much of "Suspiria."

I definitely prefer 'Bones and All' to 'Suspiria' which felt a little bloated even if I liked all the horrific imagery.

Triangle of Sadness was one of the most pretentious, dogmatic (dominating leftist-post-modernistic-neo-marxism) and messiest movies I've even seen. Most importantly, the driest and one of the superficial movies ever. Thumbs down. Looking for watching on B&A.
