Good job on the insight. I have been in your situation. Whatever y'all do, dont give the cops your side of the story unless you were the one pounded into the ground by the assailants. To the victor still standing, an arrest will be certain. Give the cops you ID and nothing else. Tell them immediately you want an attorney and you will make no statement. Dont waitnfor Miranda rights to be given...thats just in the movies.

I myself am a convicted felon. It is incredible that you are actually able to make content like this and let people know what to truly expect in the aftermath of a situation like that. I am really glad to see that there are individuals such as yourself that take the time to educate people with the FACTS. That being said I am considering starting some type of channel with similar content. Thank you for the inspiration. It is truly appreciated. And remember, stand strong for the things that you hold dear in this life & ALWAYS TRY to think before acting. Thanks again

QUESTION: Greg: We're always taught to not "hit & run", file a report, wait for police. How often is this a bad idea?---By staying, you're 1)Identifying yourself, 2) Identifying you were at the scene at the time of the incident, 3)May be giving an incriminating/unbelievable statement because of adrenaline. --The only benefit, IMO, is if you are truly the victim, can be identified as the victim; and placed the phone call to 911 asking for help. But, even then, I've heard to only point out "evidence"; ask to goto the hospital (many jurisdictions don't allow interrogations in hospital), and state you will give a full statement & "sign the complaint" after talking with an attorney.

Thank you so much for laying this out for all of us, I/we appreciate it. I'm Sorry you have had these troubles. I too have been punished for doing what is right, in a different section of the law. 3years of my life, about $60,000 out of my pocket alone, and major loss of time from work, aside from the crushing stress. I have No faith in the judicial system. I can only trust my family, and close friends. All I can say is Don't have children, anyone who reads the laws / rules from the DCFS would be shocked at what they can enforce. I could for weeks talking about all the Bull we have been put through. Truth be told, much respect Bone! Life is a bitch and you truly have to learn how to treat your wounds after she bites, because it will happen, it's just a matter of time! And with relation to our US of A, it is far from what it once was, and tried to become. Our government higher ups, our many police forces throughout the nation, our judicial system, all are far from what they were created for, and far from what they will turn out to be, and not for the good I might add. Those who have ears please listen and learn, life is too short, make the best of it for yourself and your loved ones. Thanks so much Bone, always take care bro.

Thanks a lot bone for your input keeping it real as usual and making me think. a lot of us guys love our guns and our knives but really need to stop and consider why we are carrying them if we're heading to the range to shoot off some rounds it's one thing but if we ever have to use them then in front of a jury it may not be the best idea to look like a tough guy or prepper or any of these labels that left thinking people would like to put on us. All of these instructors in the US have never had to deal with the after effects of what they teach in the civilian sector ! They only want to teach what they think they know for the money, but don't know shit about it, so they don't talk about ! Dealing with the general public is not the same as patrolling the streets of Iraq !!! They don't know the difference and it's not the same by any means ! Again Thanks for the video ! Good points to learn for those of us who haven’t gone through it before. I hope I never will. I appreciate your keychains because those give me so much more than just my fists no matter where I go. Good advice also about staying inside the car. I always wonder if it would be a good if Idea to get out of the car to confront a road rage attack. Your experience tells me to stay in the car and drive on. Let someone beat on the car and stay alive; $100 deductible is cheaper than all the stuff that could follow by getting out of the car.

Texas is a little bit different. It's somewhat easier here to defend yourself and not be prosecuted as juries here support self-defense. But as you said, hiring a lawyer will be expensive, that's why there is self-defense insurance. It costs $20-$50 per month, but the insurance company covers the lawyer's fees.
@EnderPearlRs
@EnderPearlRs Жыл бұрын
Look into the fine print of those "self-defense" insurances, most of them say that you're entitled to nothing as soon as you get charged with a crime. Most of the time you have to defend yourself, you will be charged and have to prove it was self-defense. There is no substitute for having a lawyer on retainer, if you can afford if. There are a few law firms oriented towards filling this niche in the market.

QUESTION: Greg: When would you hit the "eject" button...grab whatever you can, and do whatever necessary to get out of the country (non-US) immediately?? --Or, would you engage in an evasion routine for 2-3 weeks, and then leave the country? Many people don't understand the lawless culture in some countries...had a friend have to "tip" $10USD to get his bag out of the Odessa (Ukraine) airport baggage area because the soldier (yes...in fatigues, sidearm/rifle) didn't think it was his bag.

In Canada, they charge the winner. Even if you are defending your home. IF you injured or killed someone, you will first be charged and then have to spend a fortune in legal fees to get yourself out of trouble. It's even worse if you used a weapon.

John Wick's pencil Good question, cuz I’m sure many would like to know, as well as myself. I carry a ASP Kubaton (it’s a small MA type tool with OC pepper spray inside) with a keychain attached. I forgot to take it off once when going through a security check point in D.C. and the officer looked curiously at the hole in the bottom (where the OC spray is deployed) and asked “What is this?!” I just calmly and in a matter of fact way (albeit with a touch of backbone, but still respectful way) said, “It’s a keychain.” They let me pass with it. It’s always advisable to never ever get defensive. Be tactful and respectful, and say as little as possible, but with an air of confidence. Maybe something like, ‘It’s multitool with a bottle opener for poppin my beer tops’, or ‘It’s just a really cool looking keychain my Bro gave me that helps me to better hold on to my keys.’

Not too long ago in I was told by the woman I fell in love with after rescuing her from her abusive boyfriend looking him in the eye as I did this and buy her account saving her life on six different occasions,was told she felt I was more dangerous than the men I saved her from . It hurt me deeply , not because it was untrue , but because she was frightened by it , I've never in my life started a fight but finished many of them as fast as possible or better yet avoided them entirely , I'm a Caucasian male 55 years old I back down guys half my age and I only weigh a buck and a half I've never understood why people seem to be intimidated by me I was raised in trailer projects ghettos and barrios in order to survive I was taught many of the things he talkd about avoid a fight if possible if not end it quickly doing whatever it takes then leave when I enter a place a bar , restaurant , club whatever , check for exits snd entrances never sit with your back to them look for the most dangerous man in the room , should I leave ? Will I be putting myself or others in danger if I don't ? It's how I have survived . It sucks to live like this I would rather live like this then not live at all !

If you train martial arts, you need to train combatives, if you train combatives, you need to study self defense law. My pops away from pop’s had a self defense case similar to your own. Not multiple, thankfully. But it almost didn’t go his way. He was a vet, but his service almost didn’t save him. The case was pretty clear, cut, and dry, too. I see a lot of people who seem pretty quick to act in any self defense channels. Or at least, they comment that way. I hope they’ve done their homework and read up on the reality.

For those of you who have not been to jail... those first 12-24hours can mean a life sentence if you defend yourself infront of a camera! Awaiting trial for defending yourself & you might have to defend yourself 1 hour before court .... talk ,dont talk.... fights happen 3x a day in jail or prison give or take! Take knife defense classes before you take gun training classes - that seriouse! 37% chance of living 1 year in jail or prison 17% or less of living past 5 years incatcerated in 2019 in the united states of america ... Even if you know the law or pay $50k for your #1 goto lawyer .... you can still lose a case!

I will comply as a gentleman as I have when my lawyer is present thanks you very kindly...And nothing else.... Then in court you will have given them nothing but..You show them that your a responsible calm and nice guy.. Don't go kicking and screaming like a puke.. Take the walk like a boss....

Not saying that this guy isn't putting out good info but I'm just wondering if I was in his position doing his job if I'd want my face all over KZbin or the tactics that I employ brought out in the open for someone to learn to use against me

It’s selfish to keep such knowledge and then elite skill set from those who can greatly benefit from the ability to learn these things. It could indeed be used against us but we choose to brave the risks and do our part to make the world a better place

Gray man needs to stay out of bar's. However good information on what ever can be obtained but you need to be the fly on the wall get what you need and go. Not be another drunk. Learning the inside of everything at hand and RAT fight if needed very useful in close street combat years ago Hong Kong was bad for that kind of stuff. Watch out for people with a Cold I got Hong Kong flu and that was bad for lots of people. Know the area cerilit70 was a life saver. Later the bug's in another area wasn't fun bugx30 was a huge help. nice video thanks

@@BoneTacticalHard work and determination has nothing to do with college policies. I played baseball in college and I saw friends get kicked off the team for getting in any kind of legal trouble, so I'm not sure that a college would let a convicted murderer play on their team. If you did, hey good for you, but I think you embellish a lot of your stories.
