it's not lip synced is jst that bands sometimes don't use the live audio when making a video of a concert because back in time video and audio were separate and audio was lost or didn't sound good because of all the public clapping

Strange I don't feel any differently than pre-recorded. Usually, live performances suck. The sound quality is worse, the heavy breathing complicates it, and the orchestra drowns it out, anyway. I'm glad it means so much to you, though.

He was literally just the face of the boney m singer. That voice you love off their songs is actually Frank Farian's voice.

Everyone in a manufactured band has a role and they all contribute to the end product, whether they are a singer or dancer - and all are equally important. Without Bobby and Maizie the Boney M. band would not have been as successful as it was.

Fun Fact: Bobby Farrel was only allowed to sing in live shows (until the 1980’s). What you hear in the recorded/released version of “Raputin” (and every other song released by Boney M in the 70s) is songwriter, Frank Farian’s voice.

@@dmer-zy3rb There's actually a few albums from the 80s where Bobby was allowed to record on, but after several altercations between Bobby and Frank, Bobby was ultimately fired and replaced. (Mainly because Bobby signed a contract that allowed him to be nothing more than just a face for Boney M, hired by Frank). Farian was a dick, but it was also Bobby's fault. On the bright side, Bobby still managed to find a way to cash in on his success.
