I first listened to this on a recors plate of HMV & POLYDOR & EMR in 1975- 76. It was a great sensation of those days. There used to be gramophone company at the corner of Malleshwaran Circle( later a bank came in ) and these LP's would vanish within a couple of days. So we had to virtually do an advance booking for these plates like BoneyM & ABBA. Both are still so nice to hear. You just go back to those days of our peaceful, calm and serene Bengaluru. Full of trees, plants, good roads covered by the shade of the trees along, very courteous people, highly cultured, no show-offs, so friendly ...... omg!!! Hearing these songs you really get back to so many decades that you have left behind..

So sad that oldies mainstream radio leaves out gems like this. So I just don't listen to any of them. This song is just as beautiful as it was 44 years ago. Their Caribbean accents make me melt listening to this. The lead vocalist is outright beautiful. Their version of "Mary's Boy Child" is my favorite Christmas song. Nothing else comes close.

I agree same old same old on oldies radio channels, if I've heard Bangles Eternal Flame or Spandau Ballets True once I've heard them a million times, yet the real gems such as this are ignored. I just create my own playlists now with all my favourites on, this is one of them
