I don't care what anyone says, the 80s is among the best decades ever for music. A huge variety of artists that knew how to make real music. Other decades have their place in music history but the 80s was the decade that bridged older music with modern music. I mean what other decade made a better mix of the 70s and the 90s? It was the 80s. The 80s had the perfect balance of party, love, romance, inspiration and fun. A time of excitement and tremendous opportunity. Music had real life back then and artists were actually focused on the music without the drama.
