@@imbombayman So far they've always wiped levels, but usually you keep your characters for the sake of names and you of course lose all of your stash items and quest progression (presumably)

As someone who hasn't played the game yet myself: Are you not able to buy a purple quality staff from the marketplace/vendors? I feel like you had a ton of gold but stuck with the blue staff for most of your run.

You are able to yeah, but this is a zero to hero run so I don't spend any of the gold that I have sitting around in my stash before we do the run, we just use whatever we get :)

I was playing cleric yesterday, fully buffed myself and walked into a room, saw a wizard and felt tough, he just walked up and bonked me once on the head, killing me. I was very confused.

I dont think you can ignite your throwables, only arrows unless they changed it, or unless it was always without a visual effect

Ignite does work on throwing knives i believe but it might not show the visual effect yeah

What do you mean by the staff mastery scales with the magic damage on the staff? Isn't magical damage just flat?

So the staff mastery perks makes your attacks by default do 5 magical damage, but then if you have a grey staff this will add another +5 to the damage, adding to already 10, then with your magical power scaling this adds up higher for your total damage. I imagine they will probably stop the +magical damage of the staves from scaling the staff mastery damage, but we'll see.

Esomn please you drink a potion and then bandage when the potion will heal you all the way. Wizards need to rest spells anyway so resting bits of health isn’t bad either Love the content tho

The staff magical damage also got nerfed a bit, still very viable but not as overpowered as shown here! Although the +all gear added this patch is VERY strong for bonk wizard too.

it does.. it’s very low ratio though. agility also gives a tiny amount of action speed. vigor/dex are obviously main ways to build but those two contribute ever so slightly still

With the staff, each missile gets the magic damage bonus, so you're trading the hitscan of zap for a lot more damage by using magic missile

​@@LoverLight347mm is usually used for rushers, which you can deal with using the staff melee. Zap would be way more useful here.

The magic missiles is mainly for PvE, I feel like with our cast speed zap wouldn't be that useful either seeing as we get very little knowledge and don't use either of the cast speed perks, but maybe if you run more knowledge and less agility that might be fine.
