"To a few it means grief, to the law a relief. But it's death to Bonnie and Clyde." I never knew they actually used a real line that Bonnie said in the musical!😮

I'd turn into a rattlesnake also if someone sodomized me in prison and the constantly harassment of police after his time served. Bonnie was a young girl in love and grew up in the slums of Dallas Texas. Both had rough lives starting out. "The wages sin pays is death" Bonnie quoted as the bible says. She knew that was her only forgiveness is through death.

Bonnie and Clyde were murdered and nothing has been done about this.

clockerification Actually, I heard one of the former members of the Barrow Gang was hit by a train in 1948 and it's said it was done deliberately for his betrayal. And I think this murder changed the way people see the law and gave people a chance to look at criminals more sympathetically. So even though I'm sad they died like that, a lot has been done since.

They could have been taken alive given the right circumstances. It was an execution before trial.

+thomas jones Perhaps if they would have at least waited until the car stopped before opening fire the outcome may have been different. If that would have happened last week you can be sure the public reaction would have been far different. Something to do with the "innocent until proven guilty" premise. They got real lucky that the two occupants did not happen to be a couple of teenagers out for a drive in the country in Dad's car. All it would have taken was one posse member to fire a shot, and all would follow. Interesting to hear last week that a local cop here has been charged for firing 15 rounds into an engine compartment during a high risk take down. Firing 90 rounds into two bodies seems a tad excessive.

bac in her day, bonnie parker was a beautiful woman. it was her bad luck the day she met the devil clyde barrow. it was clyde who taught her to kill and rob. i hope god forgave bonnie for her sins. as for clyde, he is probably in hell with his stupid brother buck.
