I do not know how I was lucky (blessed) enough to have this come across my KZbin feed‼️. How we have missed Bonnie Hunt….💗❤️. And haven’t heard anything about Alice. We watched ALL of her episodes of The Bonnie Hunt show and truly miss it. Alice was always a HOOT and SO adorable, a real treat. Love Phil Rosenthal and Somebody Feed Phil and his parents at the end of the show. Sorry I don’t know David Wild, but when I finish this.. I’ll check him out. HUMANITY That’s what these three stand for. Thank you so much.

What a wonderful feeling I got when I saw Ms, Hunt's name on this! Thank you, Phil and David. I can only hope that Ms. Hunt somehow reads comments, because I have always wished to thank her from the bottom of my heart for "Return To Me". The film is a true masterwork in every aspect that my wife and I consider to be an all-time favorite! It has been watched in our house more times than I could ever count - and it absolutely deserves a 25th anniversary edition on Blu-ray next year!

I am SO happy that KZbin suggested this video! Phil, David and Bonnie, you touched my heart so many times over this hour and 20 minute meeting between you three kind-hearted, talented people! Hearing about all of the writers and comedians I grew up watching and losing a piece of my past when each one of them passed. Yes Phil, after you parents are gone you think of them every single day. And yes David, hearing new stories of how they touched others brings them back as if they are still here. Phil, I had the pleasure of being in Stephen Colbert's audience when you were on his show last year. I did not even know who you were, and yet between Raymond (one of my all time favorite shows), the Clinton video (which I remember so well!), your body of work and your kind-hearted, genuineness, you are now one of my favorite people. Bonnie has such a rich history of writing and performance, but she still offered to be of service to David's sister. I love her more than ever. Thank you for bringing a smile back to Carroll O'Connor when his heart was so broken. Now I have to watch your Elaine May video. You are so right, she invented modern-day comedy! Bless you all! ❤

My father played trumpet in Jackie Gleason's band at a nightclub called Club Miami, back in the late 1930s. My dad told the story often. She knew Sydney Pollack, who remade Sabrina. She knew Robin Williams, who shopped where I worked. I used to live in Santa Monica, too...so many great things to have things in common with Bonnie Hunt!!! I'm a writer, too. When my mother was on her deathbed I had gotten a job freelancing with a newspaper and brought my laptop and story notes to the hospital room in order to be with my mom and do my job at the same time. She enjoyed watching me work. It kept her mind off the confusion about her illness. She asked me questions about the story subject and about my process in a way she had never been interested in anything I've done before. I love Bonnie's perspective that you do things to honor your parents. That's the way I've lived my life. I quote my parents all the time. 😉 This interview, oops Master Class is amazing!!!! 😍

I absolutely LOVE Bonnie Hunt! My daughter and I have both followed your career for years. I've loved you in everything I've seen you in over the years. I had no idea you were a nurse! We lived in Chicago for 2 years. One of our favorite movies is Return to Me, since my son-in-law, Branden, is a kidney transplant recipient (he was born with PKD), it holds a special place in our hearts. In fact, after he finally recovered from Stage 4 Cancer in 2020 and got his 2nd transplant, he and my daughter finally had our miracle grandbaby, who is now 16 months old. It was so amazing to listen to you tell about all your amazing journey from Rain Man. In fact, that holds a special place in my heart as well, because my brother had Down's syndrome and I became a Special Education Teacher as a result. It was an absolute pleasure to see and listen to you! Bless you for your work as a nurse and a storyteller!

Have always loved Bonnie in everything she was involved with, as an actress, a writer and director. The film she talked about directing is "Return To Me" made in 2000.If you haven't seen it, it's a pure gem, a funny romance with a cast to die for - David Duchovny, Minnie Driver, Carrol O'Connor, Robert Loggia, David Alan Grier and Jim Bellushi. She is also in the film playing Jim Belushi's wife. The scenes with Carrol O'Connor are nothing short of wonderful. I watch it whenever I can find it.

It was about 7am & I’m on my day off from Nursing & this poped up on my Utube channel, what a rare treat & made my whole day. What truly wonderful & funny stories these 3 special friends had to tell…I’m a Nurse & work in a busy NY hospital & I’m Irish!!! Anyway I use my deadly, dark humor as a way to reduce my pts. & their families anxiety & fears while in the hospital. I also love to show old movies & see the pts. get lost, or smile, laugh, cry…whatever for just a short while, it helps us all enormously. This was a beautiful & hilarious pod cast with 3 incredibly talented people. I had no idea how multi talented Bonnie Hunt is & miss seeing her on the big screen, but I also miss the great comedy movies that are not being made today!!! So glad to hear she is remains an advocate for pts today…a much needed cause today. Thank you for a an early morning of fun & memorable stories, a much needed break from sad politics & wars. As you all mentioned we all need to be kinder & appreciative each other & hold our families closer. Bonnie you are a true HERO & your parents equally so for making you into the remarkable person you are today💜🤗. Boys you have a new fan & look forward to more early morning stories & great guests from this great show💜🤗

OMG, your show with Bonnie Hunt was just what I needed. It’s been 15 years since my Mum passed and I related so much to you all. Thank you so much. I loved and grew up with everything you talked about and my Mum and sister, Michele and I ( the 3 musketeers) were in so many funny scenarios that my sister and I still laugh about. I’m 77 and my sister 79, we have so much fun laughing at everything that happens in our daily life. We love Vegas and have casino venture. Don’t you think you should write a show about two Q-tips adventures at casinos? When my Mum was dying, my sister and I talked to my mother, in a comma and we were laughing so hard because we knew the end was near and we wanted Mum to be in on the funny stuff. Thank you so much for bringing those sad/funny memories. ❤️ Q-tips, white haired ladies who frequent casinos .😊

Bonnie is the best because she insisted on meshing her humor, creativity AND traditional midwestern values into her work. The respect she showed to Carol O'Connor rekindled a warm fire a kin to that time when we leaned on our parents much more than we imagined. I am of her generation and also believe my parents and their peers were the greatest generation. The eighties were great not because of the kids, but the parents that raised these kids.

Bonnie Hunt is as close to a perfect woman that God ever made. She really does have it all. When she mentioned getting divorced, two thoughts ran through my mind. The first was, I can't imagine the heaven on earth it would be to be married to this incredible woman. Secondly, it is way beyond my ability to even contemplate being married to her and then wanting to divorce her. How could the luckiest man in the world have such a mental breakdown? Great video. She's something else. She's not only the perfect woman, she's an extremely fine human being.
