I like your explanations. I made a ripple blanket many years ago and it looked more like a trapezoid. You were right when you said a child would still love looking at it. My grandson is 21 years old and he still has that lopsided old blanket which was bigger than a baby blanket. It was so soft but not crocheted correctly. Years later I finally took up crocheting again. You tube videos are the best. I am a visual learner so that helps a lot when I see a demonstration rather than reading a pattern. Thank you so much!

I actually have two skeins of the Strawberry yarn. Lion a brand seems to be my favorite these days... I have a wicker and cloth laundry basket brimming with pretty skeins of Ice Cream yarn. I think Parfait is my fav, because it has no white in it. This means you get a blanket full of beautiful colors. Thanks for the perfect chevron pattern for baby blankets... I think even I can make this wonderful little blanket. Did you tell us the multiple? I’ll go check... You are an excellent teacher.. I do enjoy listening to your instructions. You make everythung clear, and easy to understand. Oh.. I once made a big chevron blanket for my husband.. I thunk it has ten stitches up, and ten down.. After a few false starts, I had no trouble reading the instructions... This was in 1987 or 88. I gave it to a cousin, as a keepsake, after my husband died, in 2014.

I just pulled out a whole skein I had crocheted trying to make a chevron blanket. So frustrating, its the only blanket my Mom thought she could make lol.... I love it and have been missing her a lot lately, the ends are where I was messing up... It is explained that this "After you have worked the last 13 chains, you should have two extra. SC2TOG, these last two stitches. Chain 1 and turn. Now, start the next row by SC2TOG" this didn't work for me at all... I had 1 side that slowly was working its way inwards :'( I wanted to cry.... So, hopefully you will make a steep Chevron guide soon ;) Best guide I have found!!

Hello. This is a beautiful baby blanket, I like the high deep valleys and peaks and thought that I could give it a try. I am a beginner I did row 1 with no problem. In row 2 the valleys and the peaks don't correspond in the same place as in row 1. I understand the concept of the 3DC tog. and the three DC in the same chain but it is not working for me.
