Take cube beef, usually called cube steak, thaw, roll in flour, salt and pepper it, fry to brown both sides, put in a crockpot with mushroom soup mixed with water, until tender. Yum!

Texas girl here and we use cube steak all the time for chicken fried steaks....so yummy!!! There are lots of other uses for it, I just google it and find plenty. Love your family!!!!

Hey, Bonnie, cube steak is just how a cut of meat is tenderized/processed. We cube a lot of our cuts of venison that would otherwise be a little tougher texture wise once cooked. It’s amazing grilled! Lots of folks in the southern states fry it in various ways as well. Marinated and grilled is my absolute favorite way of enjoying it though!

Yes to that.. i live in Russia and even though 20F is kinda cold it is a really nice temperature in the middle of winter. I noticed that you get used to the cold weather gradually, once it gets really cold when it "warms up" to 20f it feels really nice

You can do many things with cube steak. If you don't want to use it for chicken fried steak, slow cook it till it falls apart and have it with rice or mashed potatoes

Cubed steak is a beef roast cut up in chunks, like mini bit size roasts. You need to cook slow and low like a full roast. However, if you have an instant pot, some great recipes on Pinterest for them!! It is like having beef stew or beef and noodles or beef tips and potatoes in a slow cooker with the cubed beef. They are usually listed as beef stew tips or stew meat or beef tips in the store packaging. Also, cubed steak in the form of dimpled meat like a burger size is wonderful for country fried steak or swiss steak or Salisbury steak!! It has already been tenderized for you, hence the dimples in the meat!! We get a 1/4 of the beef several times and prefer more of the ground beef or chuck patties than the steaks and roasts but you also get round steak or chuck steaks which have a bone and i don't cook them but have like 4 or 5 in my chest freezer because that is all I have left. I replace the liver and ribs with ground beef as well. Though I do have short ribs that still need cooked too. Good luck, I'm sure you will find some options on line for ya!!
