It so true. After having an alcoholic murdering abusive psychopath for a father, I spend a lot of time crying and mourning my childhood when I see these men like Joel and Chad, and Jared being such amazing fathers. Man I missed out. But I sure did give my boys the best life I could, full of kindness, love, respect, and healthy boundaries. And believe me when I say, I didn’t let anyone lay a hand on them after what happened to me. ❤
