Happy Birthday, Joel ........I can barely remember being 37. My son had all the G.I.Joe men, trucks, hats clothes, etc. given to him by our neighbor who had grown out of G.I. Joe toys. Never did we think that they would be such collectibles. As he grew out of playing with them, we put them out for our yard sale prior to moving. Unfortunately, some of the big vehicles were on the floor by the garage door and at the end of the day, we realized that they were all gone and none of us had sold them. Conveniently, someone had come up and taken them when we were busy. I wanted to cry because what we did sell, we got good money for even then, but what they cost now is amazing. My son is not 49 years old and we still lament about that day.

As an European I'm terrified while watching videos from USA with absolutely no rubbish segregation or recycling. Recycling is like part of our DNA now. I have 4 different bins in my house , one for general rubbish, one for paper and plastic, garden waist and glass. And can't imagine living differently.

I live in the USA and I recycle everything…some states don’t require it though…I think everyone should recycle…I was thinking the same thing when she was putting the trash in the bag…Not Good!

Totally thought the same thing. I’m from the US, live in MA, and we also recycle everything! There are fines in some places if you don’t separate properly as well. That’s sad to watch!! I know it’s innocent though Bonnie.

Boston is such a really good gift giver, he really thinks what he will give and I guess he is a sentimental child as well. I remember that he gave his mom a perfume for Christmas because that perfume reminds bonnie of her grandma, then now he gave his dad that toy because his dad did not have that toy when he is a kid.
