Gantzのアニメのエンディング曲ですが、多分DVDに収録されてるのも、３人が歩いているシーンのエンディングだと思うけど、最初は変更前、宇宙の背景がバックに始まるエンディングだったんだよね。 KZbinでも探したら、そのエンディング動画出てくるんだけど、それが自分は好きだ。 「始まりは~」のところで宇宙が広がったシーンが出てくるんだけど、 そこで命の神秘を感じる。 そして「last kiss」の歌詞、 Gantzの前半のヒロイン的存在だった「コピーの岸本恵」の悲しい運命と恋心と死、 そして雨の中で死んでいった加藤勝の存在、 すべては死なんだけど、生きるとはどういうことなのか、って考えちゃうような、 とにかくずっと好きだったエンディングなんだよね。 よって、この曲も好き。

Picked up a ton of Manga this year and gantz was one of em. And it's the best one I've picked up this year and honestly a top 10 for me. Had to watch the anime right after and this song is just so damn good and wraps up the episodes so well, even the simple animation of the Ed of Kuruno, Kishimoto, and Kato walking home together goes so beautifully well with it that it's enough. Especially with how emotionally draining the series can be. I really hope this series gets picked up again, and they continue with how the anime was handled in adding little extra bits that weren't in the Manga, like Nishi revealing how he killed himself, more detail to characters like with Tetsuo and Sei. Maybe even work with Oku at the series' end for a OVA showing what happens at the very end of the series (highly unlikely given his stance on how he sees the ending and I can't fault him for that since... Despite how abrupt it is.. It's annoyingly fitting.) Gonna go listen to more of this artists songs cause her voice is lovely. Peace
