One night, many moons ago on a balmy July night (being the music loving teenager that I was) sitting in the family station wagon listening to music and this song came on, one of my favorites at the time. Then out comes my dad from the house. I just knew he was gonna tell me to turn off the music and for me to get my butt in the house. To my surprise, he sat in the passenger seat and said "Turn it up!" I was kinda shocked because he hated my music lol. That was over 40 years ago and he is no longer here but I will never forget sharing that special moment in time with my dad.

i feel her song . and under stand about the heart ache . have been hurt very deeply .by some one clamed .he cares .all the time didn't care. not at all .he wasn't honest with me was very sneaky person a real man will let his girl know how he feels and let her go so she can find some one who truly cares and love her. yes after a while . i had to let him go the clock is ticking time is to to short to be bother with a uncaring man .he and one of his friends came by my home his friend talk to me about taking my ex back the answer was a big fat NO . i would have been a big fool if i did. due to the history of dating this man. i regret ever meeting this man .after what i went through .I would rather dated Edward scissors hand instead excuse my statement just being sarcastic .this happened to me 41 years ago haven't had any one in my life since then. i have been bit very deeply. to all young men and young ladies .please be careful and DON'T ignore any red flags or gut feeling please DON'T i beg of you .why because i did you know what gotten me in world of trouble .prayer got me out of the messy relation ship. yes i would date again if the right person comes along

I do not kow of any, but I am sure if there is some, more stadium tours are from the time of 80's and prior.

One of the best of the unusual voices in history. This song reminds me of growing up with a single mom who held me close when I was about 4 When we left my drunk father. She was young and had no idea what to do.. I remember sitting under a “rain” lamp and feeling the golden light and her embrace. I didn’t understand crying from heartache. I thought she was in pain. Goodness I loved this song when I was a kid in the 80’s. I wasn’t old enough to completely understand the lyrics, but understood enough to know it was a pretty heavy subject. But I absolutely loved Bonnie’s voice & the melody, the two elements that somehow simultaneously kept it up tempo. I never realized there was a video for it. Nice surprise.

It was one of my grandmother's favorite songs! She had a long fight with cancer, and one day in the hospital before going to sleep, she wanted to hear this song but didn’t remember the name, and we just remembered the melody! Since we don't speak English, I looked for this song putting all kinds of words that we could remember of it, and searched on 70s/80s music playlists on KZbin, until I finally found it! Everybody was so proud and happy lol! She was very happy, and started listening to it again! I miss her so much, and every time we listen this song, we remember of her!
