@thekowloons2 ай бұрын
@@orsonpresence151 thank you very much! And I don’t think I can put into words why I love this song so much, along with a handful of other songs off Steve McQueen, just the heartfelt lyrics backed by clever chords and a really stunning vocal delivery from Paddy!

Love the cover man. What would you say best way to learn guitar is im playing but a bit stuck
@thekowloons Жыл бұрын
Cheers jake, I would say start with chords, learn all the basic chords and learn songs you like that use them chords. Don’t be discouraged when your fingers aren’t doing what you want them to or when you feel like you aren’t getting better, and don’t compare your progress to anyone else. Before you move onto scales and stuff like that I think just get really comfortable with all the basic chords, and figure out for yourself the connection between them. So if you are in a key, what chords can you go to, you need to know the context of the chords and how it changes depending on what key you are in. I don’t think there’s one formula to get good at the guitar but you do need to spend hours on it just figuring bits out and realising patterns, and just enjoy it. Hope that helps 😂👊🏻

@@thekowloonsthanks for taking the Time to reply It’s very helpful. Is learning by ear better than videos and stuff?
@thekowloons Жыл бұрын
@@Jakeboothe22 no probs, it’s not necessarily better, learn however suits you best. Figuring stuff by ear is a skill you’ll probably develop along the way anyway so just do both I reckon 😃
