Drawing a Fluffy Cat with Coloured Pencils | Part 1 | Focus on the Eyes

Part 1 of drawing this lovely Fluffy Cat and we’ll be focusing on the eyes.
I’ll talk you through how to layer your colours to create the depth and detail needed for realistic eyes, the techniques I use to remove pigment to keep highlights really nice and sharp, and how to keep your darks dark while adding shadow. Plus, I’ll mention a few useful tips that I always swear by when drawing in coloured pencil.

Transferring Your Image
The best way to transfer your image onto Pastelmat is to use a projector, however you can use transfer paper to transfer. Simply lay the transfer paper under your image on top of your Pastelmat and trace around the outline.
