I have a question: Do the Ivorians speaks Bono Twi, because some of the Ivorians are from the Kwa tribe and they are related to the Asante from Ghana? BTW I'm a Ghanaian Asante who speaks Asante Twi

Hello Ghanaians, I just saw this video and I want to comments though I'm from Nzema. I think I've realise is that it looks like those calling themselves Bono people are not happy about themselves because I've lived in three European countries and any time I come across any Bono person they seem to have some beef with the Ashantis why ? And normally the Ashantis don't have any problems with the Bono people. Listen if you talk about twi language it's not only the Ashantis who speak twi the Akwapim, Akyem, Akwamu, Assin, Dankyiras and Kwahu they all speak twi so why single out only the Ashantis to attack them. You guys should stop it. Thanks

Bono people should realize they are the main Akan group from which all other Akan ethnic groups broke away from so if they speak Twi their Twi is the main Twi and all others are dialects. We need to unite because if Akans were united we will easily control Two West African countries yet see o

Asante is not one ethnic group. Asante is made of some of the members of the various Akan ethnic groups. Some Asantes are ethnically Adansi, Denkyira, Akyem, Kwabere, Magyina, Bono, etc. Okomfo Smokey conjured the Golden Stool to unite: 1. The Asantes. 2. The Akans. 3. The people of Gold Coast; present day Ghana. 4. The people of Africa. 5. People of African descent: African Diaspora. Only the number one objective has been achieved. Listen dude, stop deceiving yourself with the Bono people are the first what's? When the Akan tribes were migrating to the modern day Ghana, they were all speaking the twi language and some turn around to mix with a bit accent, so stop promoting unnecessary arguments.
