Hello Rodney, I love bonsai trees so when I saw your latest video, I was grinning ear to ear. Another great explanation from you. I do have questions though... 1. When you cultivate, must you use all your tiles or can you choose which ones to plant? 2. Do you use the face down cards each time you want to cultivate? Thanks!
@WatchItPlayed Жыл бұрын
1. You can choose fewer, if you like. 2. Which face down cards do you mean? Do you maybe have a time stamp?

Two questions: So the helper card is acquired during the meditate phase and is immediately played? Causing you to be able to grow your tree - some (like a mini cultivate action during the meditate phase)? Or can it be kept to be played during a later meditate phase, from the hand? And question two: before grabbing the helper card from the board, would one need to own (at that time, possess - or in case of later played, possess at that time) the tiles in their pile before being allowed to take/play the card, or does it not matter if you have ALL or any of the symbols on that card? It's clear that you don't HAVE to play all or any of the symbols, but does one need to at least own all the symbols on the card in order to grab it and action/play it? Or may one grab the helper not having (all) these symbols (and thereby also not being able to play them)? i.e. Hence, strategically taking a helper before another player could make use of it, could be a tactic - not needing to own the symbols upon taking the card. Thanks.
@WatchItPlayedАй бұрын
1) When you collect a helper, it is resolved right away. You can't hang onto it to resolve later. 2) You can take the helper even if you don't have those tiles, it's effect just wouldn't resolve (or it might only partially resolve). And remember, even if you DO have those related tiles, you don't have to place them: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3TMq2tpqLyhiLcfeature=shared&t=636

Hi, and thanks for yet another great video. Question: If I meditate and take a helpercard from a spot were I also take som other recourses, can I trake these recourses first and then use my helper to place them or do I need to take the helper action first and then add the recorses to my stash?
@WatchItPlayed8 ай бұрын
Hi Mark, you can do it in either order.

Incredibly, it wasn't until after the video that I realized they were color specific! Thankfully it doesn't affect the rules, or I would have had a lot of reshooting to do!

Really lovely game! Quick question: rules says that there are 11 cards to remove for a 3 players game (so with a 4 dots mark) But there are only 4…is that a typo?
@WatchItPlayed4 ай бұрын
I'm looking through a digital PDF of the rules (lent my copy to a friend) and I don't see where it says there are 11 cards to remove, but I do see it says to remove all with 4 dots. Remove all with 4 dots and you should be good.

One question.... Does the game give you a way to mark those who didn't want to take an objective and from then on won't be able to take it anymore? Or will the players have to remember this? Thanks in advance!
@WatchItPlayed4 ай бұрын
Players will need to remember, but I think you'll find this doesn't cause trouble in practice.
