I like the outcome, this tree has really come along! I abandoned my fusion project after cooking it a little long in the sun outside. I'm not mad though, I learned a lot from doing it. And I'm low-key relieved to have one less plant to care for over winter. I have about 30 house plants I'm looking to rehome this summer 😅 I just can't throw away cuttings, it feels like throwing away an opportunity.

Bummer about the fusion! But I totally get it. When I moved a few months ago it became painfully obvious that I need to lose some trees. That, and stop saving all the cuttings which I've sort of done, but it's pretty hard for me to do to.

I put spiders on my trees. They are like natural pesticide. I like putting house spiders on them.

Agreed mostly, but there is at least one kind of spider that webs up the leaves and branches so bad they die off. I need to do a little research on the subject.

This tree is developing nicely. I'm with @jameswalker3416 - I always leave spiders on my trees unless the webs get overly unsightly; I figure they are only going to eat insects that might want to eat my trees. But yeah, spider mites are a different story, don't want to leave those alone.

Yeah, I need to learn which ones are good and which ones aren't.
