God, I love LIza's hosting. Reminds me so much of Bill Cullen's performance on the US one.

So do I! Her reaction of this game is very good! Even though she is a little bit crazy! She is somebody who I could give a foot massage! Or a little bit of tickle torture on the feet with her mother or sister! I could even do it with her daughter as well! We will take 1 foot each! The left foot for my assistant! And the right one for me! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

She is five times faster than Bob Holness! And three times faster than Simon Mayo! She also has a little bit of sense of humour! And, no games you can have a host without a bit of sense of humour! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

They should put more clips of blockbusters with Lisa Tarbuck! Because, she is my current favourite blockbusters presenter! She is very good! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Watching these back almost 25 years on..... I wasn't a fan of hers at the time, but I don't think Liza Tarbuck was that bad as presenter at all - it took her a while to find her feet, and there was also the fact that she wasn't Bob Holness and it was just simply never going to be the same without Bob. She was rather too forcedly "playful" as host at first (probably as she was deliberately trying to be as different to Bob as possible), but she did become much more chilled out and easy-going towards the end of her stint - as she only hosted for one series we'll never know now, but I think her tenure as host would likely have improved considerably if Sky One had recommissioned the show for a second series... My biggest bugbears with this version were that the opening titles and studio set look both looked really cheap-and-cheerful, and the adaptation of the theme tune was horribly bland - a better studio set, with decent music and titles, and this version would have been more successful

I miss the sci-fi city intro of Blockbusters and the 1980s theme tune. This intro sucks and so does the theme.

Liza was such a weird choice for host, and definitely not suited to the task. She tries to be playful but just comes across as patronising, and has this annoying habit of saying letters like a toddler learning the alphabet. The theme tune is all wrong, the graphics are lazy, background music during the Gold Run ruins the feel of it... the whole thing just feels nasty and cheap.

This version nobody remembers. 2000. Don't worry Challenge had a go twelve years later with Simon Mayo. And again on Comedy Central with Dara O'Braian in 2019.

I like the way that she plays the game with them! I also like the way she is reacting to the disappointment of the players! She really let out a big sigh! Just as if she is playing the game herself! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
