That pineapple quilt is so cute. I love the sign for quilters. I wonder where she found it. I love the canning jars put up. I live in Texas and it is definitely the season down here. I will be processing blackberries today and jarring up blackberry lemonade concentrate. On Sunday, the grandkids will be here to help Papa dig up the potatoes and so we will be using them (and distributing to my daughters) and I will be processing those that are left. June and July are busy for me with everything coming from the garden. I cannot wait until the fresh tomatoes start coming in. I do have 3 green ones my hubby harvested for me so that I can make fried green tomatoes. So yummy.

The Mike you are using today is great! I'm with you 100% on using what you have and not running to the store to replace what may be old but still works adequately. Your video today is awesome. I, too, love yellow and red. My walls are a lovely soft yellow from Benjamin Moore heritage collection and our couches are red. Bright and cheerful for our long Canadian Winters. Have a great day!

I too loved "yellow" as a child and still do. Yellow was my first love. My living room is painted a beautiful butter cream yellow and I have butterscotch colored carpet. It is like a beautiful spring day everyday when I come down the stairs. :)

Thank you for talking about markers that you use for making quilt labels, Pat! I have made a few quilts and given them to family members, but never made any labels. I haven't known how to do it without ruining the quilt. I'm learning so much from you. Also, I loved that tin so much that I had to go hunt one down on ebay! 😀🥰😍

I also saw the free Meowy Halloween Kitty pattern link in your description notes that I must make for 2 of my cat loving adult children. Your Pineapple quilt is so cute, and Cindy's quilting highlights it perfectly! I enjoyed your podcast interview with Jackie--it was fun to listen to. My Dad was stationed in Hawaii for his Army basic training in the 1950's. He ate so many fresh pineapples while he was there that he foundered himself and hardly ever ate pineapples after that!

Thanks for the free pineapple pattern. At the moment I am doing a crossword puzzle quilt of my husband immediate family. My thought is to do the pineapple when I do the heart of America quilt. Years ago I would use a pen that was supposedly permanent. However the labels washed out. I invested in an embroidery machine (of course I use it for other projects as well) to embroider my quilt labels. I usually go on google to look up sayings, such as for a baby quilt, etc, and embroider the saying plus when and where I made it and to whom it’s for.
