This album was a masterpiece. Gave me gkmc vibes as how he went into so much depth into his personal life if you listen to Adel singing all the time you wont get boogies singing. Those melodies are pain. Pain that only ppl who feel his words can feel when he sings that gives you that chill on the back of your neck. Depression and dealing with so many shortcomings. Emotionally this album ment alot to me. The comparence to chance is in their voices I guess but that's it. Just like mick jenkins and tyler the creator have the same voice and the game and nas have the same voice.

Honestly I dig your reviews but I honestly think you were off on some points okay maybe not off but our opinions differ as someone that has experienced most of the situations this album and being able to relate to the content both emotionally and psychologically it deserves like a 9 simply cause of the approach in the current climate and still remaining relevant all and all as someone that identifies with most of the subject matter on this album personally I'll give it a 10 as for the Em verse I feel it was more for the cross marketing and to introduce Eminem's fans to boogie cause lets face it that verse wasn't all that even thought the delivery was on point. I think 6 is a fair score, but I probably would’ve given it a 7. The Eminem feature may have not been good for EFS, but it really is such a small piece of the entire album. So small that I honestly just graze right over it. Boogie’s lyrical talent, ability to narrate a story, and overall ability to evoke strong emotions of deprivation, anxiety, and the need to become better is strong on this album. Strong enough that I think it’s worthy of a 7. Still plenty room to grow, but also acknowledging that this record is pretty solid all around (for the most part) - especially for a first full length project.

I agree with the review but not the rating...think it was more like a strong 7 or even a light 8...some songs were definitely too short and would have benefited from a few more verses (though it's sort of Boogie's style from his previous projects to do those shorter, 1 verse joints I guess) and those opening bars in Em's verse (and the dracula line) were cringe but I think the content on this project is very strong...lyrically it's creative while touching on some very serious subjects and the production is really great...looking forward to his next project!
