Me, I've become satisfied by playing music via my stereo (and now, computer, and phone). Those people are way much better than I would ever be. Watching Stephanie's hands whiz around the keys, well, few are able to do that in the first place. My talents are in other areas.

Sir, it is exactly what i said it was. All the piano's are tuned twice a day..In morning and near dinner time. There are 9 stringed piano's there. NO DIGITAL. I have been in the room waiting for evening concert and guy tunning. I ASKED what the model was. I have 4 piano's and a digital and KNOW what a piano is...You see a reflection on the mirror finish of the piano. To her right at rear of room up high are spotlights of different colors and lighting for the stage the piano is on.

You have it BACKWARDS! Blohms Boogie may sound like "Boogie Woogie Stomp", which was written by Albert Ammons, and I believe the date was in the 1930"s, and he passed away in Dec 1949.... Thanks for commenting....VBR

I've heard many different pianoplayers playing this Boogie Woogie Stomp by Albert Ammons, who invented it some time in the 1930s and made his Best performance of it on record in 1939. But Stephanie Trick is clearly the one, who comes nearest to the original. If you didn't know better, you Wood think, this is the Master himself. I havn't heard Any jazzpianist Sound so "original" in comparison to the old Masters as Stephanie. She is outstanding.

I believe her technique is to transcribe old recordings and then play it. She's a classicly trained pianist with incredible jazz chops.

At least as early as 1936, that was the oldest date I have found a recording of it. You're right, and there are actually several boogies I have heard that sound a lot like Albert Ammon's version of Pinetop's boogie. I don't know the date that Pinetop did it, I just know that Albert Ammons kicked it up a knotch.
