People are already interested in his story, now he just needs to move on to the next phase, and the next phase demands a complete transformation. I’m a broke college student who went on a manic shopping spree of workout equipment. I’m still in a manic episode but i fucked up my card and I got about $10 left. Luckily I at least use what I spend my money on and don’t just look at it on a shelf. I also bought like $15 on a months worth of ramen last week so I’m good on food. I got 160 miles left in my tank (thank you to my sister cause she venmo’d me $50 to which I’m gonna pay her back once I have the money) so I will be able to get to school and back…. I know I’m terrible with money but I am trying to get a job and I bought enough ramen to prepare for until I have a job.

@@Athena_36See normally I’m good, but I’m kind of a bipolar schizophrenic (schizoaffective is the clinical diagnosis) and winters makes it real rough for me cause my issues get to a point where my meds don’t even work. But once I get a job I’ll have almost no free time so I won’t spend as much money and I will be making it. My ultimate plan is to get into real estate as a side hustle so if I can get a decent paying job and continue school, I can hopefully reach that goal.

@owenleal Жыл бұрын
More like, he would rather feel sorry for himself than proud of himself. If you think of yourself as pathetic, people will think of you as pathetic. They wont be able to help it. If you love and respect yourself earnestly (not in an arrogant way, where you can do no wrong, but acknowledging your strengths and treating yourself with compassion) and strive always to enrich and improve your life to your satisfaction, then people will love and respect you and they will be interested in your efforts. Boogie just doesnt love himself. He hates himself with a passion and believes he is unworthy of love or affection. You dont make an effort to improve the life of a person you hate, and this applies to yourself as much as to other people. Since Boogie is unwilling to change for himself but since he has to get by somehow, he has made it his MO to be a victim rather than a person with any agency. He probably finds it easier to writhe about on the floor like some poor sick, wounded animal until someone feels bad enough that they save him from his own life, than to take stock and make plans to improve his life. I wrote all this because I empathise with Boogie but also dislike the way he chooses to live.
