boogie. as one that went and lost almost 200 myself. i went through the same thing, going through same stuff now. the pain, low t everything else. thank god i was 6'5 or id look like a walking barrel with legs. i had all the same issues. low t. so now am on therapy for it. which has helped a lot due to ailments also weakening t levels. had the mammograms due to with all the fat there there is also risk of tumors in the tissue. luckily i had nothing. i had massive amounts of scar tissue in the penile area. so much it felt like kidney stones passing. luckily had that addressed. im still heavy, but almost near my goal. its a struggle every day. i still have some issues medically which a team is needed. as far as your videos. they are great. its not just the story, ppl wanting to hear you being embarrassed. no, to me its more of HOW you tell it. the journey, beginning and end of the story. the humor added and all else to it.

Back when I was 19, before I transitioned into the woman I am today, I was twerking in front of my bedroom body-mirror, and I somehow managed to dislocate my right knee. The bulk of my kneecap went inward, behind my knee, then popped back into place on its own as bout as quick as it dislocated, but tore the calf muscle of that right leg in the process. I was in severe pain. My bedroom was a small barn converted into a ADU (accessory dwelling unit)/tiny house. I had to crawl down stairs, muster enough strength to stand up and open the front door (thank goodness the sliding barn door was already open), then army crawl about the length of a football field to the driveway next to the main house where I screamed for my parents help. I begged & pleaded for them to drive me to the ER but they refused, they thought I was overreacting. Thankfully my great aunt agreed to take me (RIP Aunt Johnive, jon-iv-vee). The doctor I saw didn't do much for me. I went in thinking I was gonna get an x-ray, and perhaps a cast, I came out with a mammogram (which is a painful, terrifying experience, they didn't just squish my breasts, they squeezed my torso, the machine kept starting & stopping, increasing the pressure, I thought the machine malfunctioned and I was gonna die in a painful, gory, freak accident, like a death scene from Final Destination) and a prescription for Vicodin. The doctor was like... "It says here you have breast tissue, and you've never had a mammogram. Well you're getting one today.". That was completely irrelevant to what I came in for, and totally unnecessary. I tried to say no to the mammogram, but my non-consent fell on deaf ears.
@DanielleStarry2 жыл бұрын
That’s wild! Even though I have the brca mutation and regular mammograms are part of the annual standard procedure for cis women, I recently found out a lot of insurance providers won’t cover the scans. My initial scans were inconclusive so I had to do a more in depth follow up mammogram, boy howdy it is not a fun time! Not as bad as an ovarian ultrasound, but I’d definitely skip it if I could. Can you please tell me more about this barn you lived in? It sounds really interesting. I’m imagining my barn with you living in it but that just cannot be the case.

@shibez2 жыл бұрын
around the same time you did i too was diagnosed with low testosterone and was referred to a endocrinologist as well. I was 430lbs back then. Worse decision i ever made because being on male hormone for about a year or so i am pretty sure was the final push that gave me diabetes. And I came for low t, stayed for diabetes...and was on a diabetic roller coaster from hell for about the next 7 years before i made the decision to stay on as low carb of lifestyle as possible and put my diabetes in a state they call "cured by diet" A1c went from high 11's to 5.3. Also the Testosterone would make me rage like a monster at times and cry at the drop of a dime. It was insane. it was around the time charlie sheen was on it as well and was acting insane and there was commercial after commercial toting the miracles of taking testosterone....they say it will "make you feel like a man again!" fuck that shit..the amount of testosterone in a mans body doesn't make him any more or less a man. Its actually normal for men to have low testosterone when they are morbidly obese and higher numbers of female hormone...And when women gain weight, its the opposite. They will get high levels of testosterone and lower numbers of estrogen. Also wanted to say that my mom was put on HRT as well about 6 years ago, not long after she developed a blood clot that nearly killed her, it was in her lung and was pushing on her heart.

The reason you have so much estrogen is because your adipose tissue (fat ) converts testosterone into estrogen. Which creates a negative feedback loop which also blocks your testicles from producing more testosterone. And you have a lot of adipose tissue;hence alot of estrogen and gynaecomastia.

Your heart muscles are the only muscles in the body that cannot recover and heal. They are also built different, so they arent that easily damaged. What usually is the case is that the blood vessels around it and actually making your heart work is what gets damaged first, and those can be repaired, to an extent. If our heart would be able to regenerate itself, we would have a longer life cycle and higher life expectancy than we already do.
