Amazing photography. Love the idea of the interplay between the car and shadow. Can you expand on why the borders of the pics are so large? Why have a large book if the pictures are half the size of the page? I have many coffee table type car books and always like looking at the large pictures. We are so used to looking at tiny pics on our phones. Big photography books are different. The large photos are a major part of what make coffee table books so impactful.

thank you! Thats a great q - the layout/margins might adjust slightly before print, but with a square format, and the mix of images being portrait and landscape (and not cropping them), you try to find a balance so that the left side and right side of the spread are balanced. And that informs the margins, and then it has to also be consistent throughout, for lots of different image ratios. The overall image sequence over the course of the book is more important to me than singling out balanced pairs and matching them per spread.
