Reading is Fundamental. How many people remember that slogan,? When my kids were in 1st through 6th grade, if they read a certain amount of books, they got a coupon for a free pizza from Pizza Hut. They are now (twins) 38 and one other is 30. Boy did they read alot of books. Joel, my friend, you reminded me of the Home Alone movie when you walked into the house. You two always make me smile.

Oh my gosh Bonnie, I do NOT like cooking with my kids either. It just takes so long, the messes are greater and my OCD on how things should be done. BUT...you are right ...it is such a good thing to do. The kids love it so much. That pie looks so good! I gave up carbohydrates in July and haven't had anything like that in months.

Bonnie I feel the same way. I want to go back to when my grandma died to be a better support system for my mom mainly because I know how hard it is after losing mine. It's been a heartbreaking and difficult process.
