Same. My birthday is at the end of June, so I've been buying books. The funny thing is my husband won't bargain hunt for books like I do. So I get all my own presents and give them to him to wrap. The funny thing is my short-term memory is so bad that by the time my birthday comes around and I open my presents. They are all surprises because I totally forgot what I got myself😅.

Someone might have already told you, but The Retreat is the 2nd book in a series. The 1st book is The Sanatorium..I loved your haul. Makes me want to make a trip to half priced lol

It's not necessary to read The Sanatorium first, but I would definitely recommend it for background on the characters.

Agreed you don’t have to read it first, I read the retreat last month without reading the sanatorium and it’s completely separate

Hi Hailey, love your videos as always! I read When Rabbit Howls about a year ago and I was thoroughly engrossed with it. I've yet to read So You've Been Publicly Shamed by Jon Ronson but I've read The Psychopath Test by him which I enjoyed. Some psych books I'd rec for you if you haven't read them yet lol! What My Bones Know by Stephanie Foo, The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel Van Der Kolk, Falling Into the Fire by Christine Montross, Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb and Good Morning, Monster by Catherine Gildiner.

Pls do create a manga reading vlog ❤y 2:08 spy family Haven't really watched or read it but I did read a lil bit of the first chapter cuz I've been interested in it before it turning into an anime But basically the dad is a spy the mom is an assassin and the daughter is a mind reader I'm excited to read the manga but I don't have money to buy manga (cuz i waste my money on food😅), and yes I can read it online but I want my first manga to be spy family so yeah And I'm sure you will love anya Also u read manga 'left to right'
